You're delusional if you think we could get either without offering much up. Both are also contracted

I said that there have been signs this year of a drop off in form. I take a keen interest in Brisbane and have noticed Stef labouring more this year and being beaten by some pretty ordinary competition including our own Roughead.

It's a lot to pay for a guy two years from retirement but if it comes off, it would be massive. Fills a hole for a limited period. The window is wide open, let's be aggressive.

Just updated my book, West Coast cut a few too and they're
still in the finals.

I dont think they have. A few have announced their retirements at seasons end, or in Brophy's case immediately, although that happened yonks ago. But no cutting has taken place.

He showed some really good signs for us in the VFL prior to being drafted. Would take a punt as a rookie for a low risk pick ala Hamling

And Martin was a non-entity in the latter match in my humblest of opinions. At absolute best he broke even with Roughead when opposed to him.

As I was looking at the AFL website where there was a list which was way out of date, so I looked up every individual player on the list one by one. When I got to Kreuzer there was an article released on the 24th of June in the Herald Sun (linked below), that said he was close to signing a new deal. You would imagine if you were Carlton and he has had the season he has, you almost certainly look to lock him up straight away. So yes I wonder what happened to the deal being almost done, but I would throw the kitchen sink at him as you would Scrag.

Martin thrashed a combination of Campbell and Boyd earlier this year. You can check the stats there.
In Brisbane neither Roughead and Martin were in their sides bests. Martin has 1 more possession,1 more tackle and 20 more hitouts.

I was at both games and clearly Martin was easily the best big man on the ground round 5 universally named in people bests(except yours).
At the Brisbane neither ruck had much influence. The fact that Martin had it more means he could not been shaded by Roughead.

Obviously you don't like Martin, can't admit your wrong here or just don't like to proven wrong by me.

I struggle to comprehend how you think that was the case. He absolutely annihilated us in round 5, and did a similar yet slightly less convincing job later in the year.
