They can throw a shit ton of money at him but given where salary caps are getting too it will get to the point living in the GC can't be bought. I could double my salary by going to the GC and have been asked to do so by my company twice but I hate the shithole. Lynch has been there a number of years and may be over it enough that going from $1mill a year to $2mill as the AFL love child simply isn't worth it. I'd do Melb for a $10mill buddy deal rather than GC for $15 if I was him.....

And they really are a shite side. Lynch has been triple-teamed for the last couple of years because they simply don't have any class in their forward line when Ablett's not there. Getting bashed every week and being in a losing side has surely gotta start wearing thin after a while. The starting point to lure him away will be at least 7yr/$15M.

If Hawks are into Stringer. Their 2018 1st rounder should do it. Not too phased about scoring potency. Toyd, Cloke and Red is sufficient kpf for 2018.

To be completely honest with everyone, this thread has bored me out of my absolute brains. Can we please keep all the Stringer discussion in the Jake Stringer thread that Norm just opened up the other day, and keep this thread for reasonable discussion regarding other trades in this one. I for one have stopped reading this thread and I used to look forward to every night when I sit down having a read of the last few pages of trade and list management thread that had been discussed that day. Now there is no fun in that anymore because all it is is a Jake Stringer thread, and people are coming out with some outrageous and simply untrue comments.

Don't need him. We've got Lewis Young who could be a poor mans Lever. Never saw the need for him, even though he is a good player. Get me some ball users in the midfield and someone, anyone who knows where the goal posts are.

Lever is a gun and wil play forward as well in the future.
But I agree if we can keep our first , a classy quick ball user please.

He isn't, he is just pointing out that we don't know the full story and it could be one or the other.

People need to take their head out of their arse if they think there is no possibility of any of our players taking or have taken any drugs, it's an issue for society and the AFL landscape is just apart of it.

Also don't just think it stops at pills or coke because there has been and no doubt still is players that have at at least one point done ice.

I really like darcy Lang. But he's another smallish mid/forward that's not a natural small forward. McLean, Daniel and dale types.

We need a legit small forward with elite speed if there's one out there?? What happened to Ben long this year and how is his speed/defensive work??

You could probably say Redpaths 2018 will be an improvement off the back of actually getting a full preseason this time around.

As for the other 2... Boyd showed some good signs in the vfl to close out the year, but will need a huge turnaround to kick 40+ goals next year. Cloke is just about cooked IMO. Worth more to the side playing further up the ground.

We will be in huge trouble if we fail to land another 1 - 2 new forwards in 2018.

Dickson is only just going too, not expecting much from him either.
