-Dunkley Won’t get midfield minutes- he’ll in fact get less now with treloar arrival.

-We would never have given up 2 top 10s (even though they didn’t even get close)

-picks 6/7/8 I am happy with!!

-Well get him for less in a year

-Dedoro should no longer have a bad reputation moving forward as other clubs are just as bad.

-Dogs held him against his will.

-Dunkley can ruck in the twos

Once again, I come in peace.

Not gunna pretend I'm not disappointed we couldn't get a deal done. However, once again, Doggies had every right to set the price they set and IMO it's not unreasonable for a person and player of Dunkley's calibre.

Retaining Dunkley alone already put your trade period into the win column IMO and adding Martin and Treloar takes it to a whole new level.

Look forward to watching your side next year.

The Crows element has been underplayed. They were so cocky we had to give them 14.

Honestly dunks is turning 24, he was injured all year, I believe the midfield role we would have offered him is still there for the taking, we’ll play him in the guts next year and if he still wants to leave he’ll be worth more next year than he was this year.

Let's say Dunkley does want to leave next trade period (which I reckon he won't, this is more Papley than Daniher). Even then he'll:
- still be contracted for a year
- be another (hopefully not injury-interrupted) year better and more developed
- have more teams coming for him

And even if he nominates Essendon again (although who the hell knows why he would after that), they'll:
- very likely have a higher first pick than they offered this year, in a better draft, and one we can actually use a high pick in
- know we're serious when we say what the minimum we will trade him for is.

We'll get more for him next year than they offered this year.

I would have liked Allir at the price. Limited but we wouldn’t have needed him to do much. The fact he tries to mark is an upgrade on Gardner.
