If Black Shlengsonganong isn't available of what we're after, Sam Skinner is apparently playing well in the SANFL as a KPD.
He was on our draft radar before Brisbane swooped, was desperately unlucky in his AFL days. He may come under consideration as KPD cover.
I'm not prepared to tolerate transphobia. If you are, that's your prerogative.
Its mostly not a phobia, its about them trying to indicate they are a different gender that people find hard to digest.

Conversely a change of state might get him away from negative influences and bring out his best.
The 'bad influence' is moving to Melbourne (Aidyn Johnston) which is why he's open to a move to Victoria.
I'd rather chase a genuine first ruck without the off-field dramas.

JK is an interesting one, surely not pushed out and doubt he’d be up to moving across the country but I’d throw absolutely everything at getting him over in a playing/coaching role. One of the great modern forwards, imagine the influence he’d have on JUH & Naughty, would be genuinely priceless. Hell just hiring him on a 7 year contract solely to be a training set shot partner for Naughty! Plus he’d be such an ideal forward on field in our setup for the year, even though he looks like he’s not too far off being cooked

In all seriousness we have 2 of the greatest key forward prospects we’ve had in years, we need to spend big on developing them right and looking at coaching/playing inclusions like this
agreed

Naughts, English and Schache just functioned effectively in a final. Jamarra will need to be slotted in, Bruce will be back before the end of next year and Darcy will also be added the list in 2022.

Do we really need another kpf?

That's what I've been saying.
We don't need a KPF, we need a 80% ruck 20% forward to rotate with English, who should be a 80% KPP 20% chop out ruck.

Watching Keath and Gardner today, I actually am not even sure we need a best 22 KPD, we just need depth that won't look out of place when they come into the side. Keath and Gardner work really well together to largely nullify the influence of the talls.
Yet AFL website said likeky cordy to come in for Gardner, what a crock.

I am still reserved with Schache.

Whilst he did play a good game on the weekend. He has been poor in the past, particularly earlier in the year against Richmond where he was shirking contests.

Both he and Young (who has had similar criticism) were good on the weekend. Still room for improvement, but Schache threw his body into a pack situation when the ball was loose which led to a Dogs goal - so he played his part

Thats fair but even if he's depth behind Jamarra, I still feel the stocks are ok, with Bruce and Darcy also in the mix before the years out

Schaches not reliable at this stage and might even be better suited to defence, Bruce won’t be back next year and there’s a very high chance he will never be the same, he’s what 30? Darcy won’t be ready for years and could also be better suited to defence. Timmys one ruck injury away from being dragged into rucking (if we even get a ruck first that is) Jamarra will slot in very very soon sure. I wouldn’t prioritise the position this year and talk of guys like Casboult & Lynch is ridiculously unnecessary but if the right option came up I’d look at it. Would have to be an older guy that came cheap that actually is first 22 and improves the side and let’s our younger guys develop before leaving in a year or two.

I.e Kennedy, Gunston etc

Yep, I know which one you're talking about. He was much more physical on the weekend.

I hope he can be in drier conditions, in the heat from a top 4 side.

It's a small step, but both he and Young should have been widely congratulated and encouraged from within after the game - as that's the way to build their confidence to make repeat efforts like that...

Preuss comes to mind but he's only been at GWS a year.
Flynn is also injured currently. Witts is injured but unlikely to be fit until mid 2022.
Other currently injured rucks are ROB, Pittonet, Lobb(more fwd), Soldo, Nank,Naismith,

Can Lynch play on a wing? He isn't a pure KPF.

Will help taking the heat off Naughton roaming the wings.

It is a good position to be in. I never thought I'd see the dogs with strong key position strength.
