This send to the PSD rubbish is simply that - rubbish. Even if you were to get a second rounder, that is better than zero... Be rational.
If Brisbane won't make an acceptable offer, then the club would need to go to the AFL mediation process before we would be sending a player to the pre-season draft. I think Brisbane will have to deal legitimately, even if we don't get exactly what we want. They can't just completely low-ball us and expect to get away with Dunkley for a bag of chips.

If Dunkley is going and Logue is up for grabs then we need to go for him

Dunkley and Pick 29 to Brisbane for Pick 13 and a Future 1st

Brisbane Future 1st to Freo for Logue and Lobb.

Take 11, 13 and 37 to the draft.

Liam Jones as a DFA

Delist: Martin, Wallis, Butler, Schache. Trade Crozier

C: Hunter, Libba, Williams
HF: Treloar, Naughton, West

well said and without the emotion.

Never easy and looking through years of the lions trading, they have had to eat a s*it sandwhich at different stages.

A trade that benefits both clubs in some way will be found, if infact he decides to request a trade to either the lions or port.

Will Gould is uncontracted. More of a medium defender listed at 191 but his tough and has a strong body and a booming kick. Hasn’t been able to debut at Sydney.

Has been lauded for his work ethic and has reportedly put in a lot of hard work to get his fitness up and body in condition to play AFL.

Only if cheap to me, a top 30 pick not getting a single match within 3 years is always something that raises an eyebrow.

I don't see how Brisbane offer anything substantial to us. Why would we want a future first rounder from a team that will likely finish top 4 or 6? It's just not a valuable proposal for our second best midfielder this season.

I wonder if Dunkley has told us who he wants to go to, but is waiting for an in principle deal to be worked out before publicly naming his preferred destination.

He would be nervous about publicly naming a preferred club for a 2nd time and having it fall over again

No Darcy? Nice team though.

Rubbish... of course it is.

Anyone saying otherwise when they leave is hiding behind other reasons.

It probably isn't the only factor but it is one.

He wasn't going to essendope for their drugs culture
Just because he wants try a new environment doesn’t automatically mean we have culture issues. He might genuinely just want to try something new. The whole one club thing is a uniquely Australian thing.

There would be a reason, whether the almighty dollar or environment or something else.

Don't forget he claimed culture and standards issues while trying to get to Essendope who had a drug culture

A few of the players had a meeting with Hasbulla. He's perfect for that small forward/on field enforcer position we've been desperately missing.

Get it done Sam Power

I thought that was Caleb Daniel

Lol clarko is going to blow them up. It's great.

Completely agree with this

Not now...might be some vote reshuffling going on to save some face
Don't know if we'd do that, but there were rumours the Crows did it for Jake Lever the year he left

Brisbane normally do deal in good faith but it is going to be very hard for them to get the no 1 pick, another likely top 20 FS, and trade for Dunkley unless they get creative.
Any player they offer us has to agree to us and we have to accept which represents a stumbling block too

I'm going to sound like a broken record but Kai Lohmann is the one we should target.
I'm on board. Playing a natural forward in the forward line, crazy concept but it might just work

Let’s hope they go out tonight so 13 is at least in play.

Surely has, trade week starts 5 days after the B&F. Can't leave us in the lurch that long.

Watched him in the VFL. Similar to Weightman as he is good overhead BUT has x-factor and a ground game.
I asked a couple of Brisbane fans and they'd prefer to keep him which is always a positive sign.
Gotta give something to get something.
