If they were going to do that why wouldn’t they have just done 15 & future first then? Rather than splitting 15 then trading it onto us anyway 😂
Unless they're trying to snag another pick from GCS as part of the Berry deal to satisfy Sam Power?
Suns are flush for picks this year so may go for 2022 picks with 2023 picks going back

What about this:

BrisbaneF1, GWSF2, 21, for:

Dunkley, 39 and WBF3

Leaves us with 15, 21 and 30 for this year.
It's not ideal, but it's not horrendous either. We can package something to move further up the draft if we need, otherwise we have our own, Brisbane's and the GWS F2 next year for 3 picks in the top 25.

P.S. I think you mean 11, 21 and 30 for this year?

Bowes and Pick 7 off to Geelong
Get ****ed.

It's officially time for a ****ing salary cap audit at that campaigner of a joint.

Can't claim that everyone goes there and is happy to play for peanuts "because of the lifestyle" and in the same breath claim that they "have loads of room in the cap because of retirements". Those two statements come out of every ****ing Cats fans mouth and directly contradict each other.

It does stink. There's no way a team with as many mature aged players as the Cats do coming off a flag should be the dumping ground for excessive salaries.

I question both Gold Coast and Geelong's list management, for different reasons, given a side which has never so much as made the top 8 is having to offload a player and high draft pick to the recent premier for a salary dump. It's completely backwards.

Hawkins is on well unders, $300k or something. It all helps.

Let me get this right,

The Cats just won the flag yet have cap space to take Bowes on who I’d suggest in any in their best 22 presently. They then may swap their 1st pick for pick 7 and end up having a selection before us.

He wouldn't have been for the past 10 years though, when they've been doing this shit for all this time.

Think Geelong might be paying the fuel bills at his farm...

They are spreading Bowes' $1.6m over 4 years and getting pick 7 for it. Surely they should be made to cop the $1.6m over the next two years?

Seems to be advantaged to the big clubs doesn’t it. They can just get a player to forgo the bigger contract and then just take the pick that comes with it. Surely Gold Coast aren’t so stupid to give pick 7 as well.
