How do we fit Rowe though? Correct me if I am wrong, but from what I know. 7 players out, 2 traded in, and two rookies need to be promoted? That leaves three list spots for the draft.

I think people just want Rowe because he is a small. Weary of guys who cannot crack into a struggling team, regardless who is ahead of them. We need pace and pressure as much as goals. Not sure he is the pressure/high intensity type we need.
Technically the rookie elevations count as draft picks. We could theoretically trade all three of our picks for one higher pick and take two delisted free agents.

So North axes Polec. We could get him for free and we need a wing. Just not sure what to think of him after the last 4 years. I’d probably pass.
Based on North mates' repeatedly reinforcing my own opinion of him, if Polec was the last winger left on the planet, I'd choose "not Polec".

Hearing the doggies are looking at Sam Naismith for a rookie spot. Hasn’t done medicals etc but have spoken with his management. Early days.

Couple of other clubs looking into him as well.

A 30 year old coming off 3 ACLs?
He's played two AFL games since 2017

His knee is held together with chewing gum and prayers.

Wouldn’t be the worst if fit but I just really don’t think we need to waste a spot on another back up ruck. Sweet is honestly as good as most going around as a genuine back up - durable and you know what you’ll get out of him. In a worst case scenario should Timmy & Sweet both go down we’ve got Lobb who can at least do a role and we should be using the spot on another young rookie ruckman from the draft or state leagues to start developing behind Timmy. 3.5 + Darcy is enough on a list for mine

Agree with taking a young rookie ruck. If we don’t already have a view just ask the NAB League clubs which rucks they’re planning to invite back as 19 year olds and take one of them.

Rather take a shot at an undrafted Ruck as a rookie, with room for growth. Than getting a 30 something injury riddled one who has already peaked.

Happy for Greene. Still felt he was the only natural medium forward we had back then, but didn't get as much of a run as some ordinary coaches pets get.

Was always one of my favourites I hope he does well for them.

Deffinetly not against it.

Fergus Greene signing with Hawks, great news for him.

It’ll be interesting to see how he goes after many years of development. He should get a few opportunities in a young Hawks side with Gunston moving on.

Like the idea and actually rate him as a player but I do not trust those knees at all. Could tell me he popped an ACL getting out of the bath and it wouldn’t shock me
