I'd imagine Goldstein wouldn't be on big money let's say 400. Mckay is getting 780. Gresham 700 and Oliver on 850.
You're right close to 3mil is alot to have tied up on four players.

Just had a look then, the list does look bottom 4. They probably have heavily front ended contracts too.

Gresham aside the other 3 are actually good fits for them (obviously they’re paying McKay way too much but that’s another topic)

They’ve been crying out for an Oliver type mid since Jobe retired

You're probably right but as a free agent clubs usually over compensate with cash.

I think also the offset for the Gresham deal is Shiel going to Saints, which would be a good wage going the other way

True. But with Bevo, he rarely does the obvious.
Wouldn't surprise me to see Darcy playing on the wing.

How does it make 0 footballing sense? He is tall athletic with a large jump and will be for literally 5 minutes a Q when English takes his break

Lobb averaged 1 CBA a quarter do you really think 1 CBA a quarter will be the difference between the guy some are dubbing our future captain here leaving or not?
