Dogs have big plans on getting free agents into the club

They are making salary rooms to prepare for A Graders to walk to the club for free

Dogs believe that Croft is on the same path as Darcy development. So I wouldn't be shocked if he's debuting this year or early next season

Dogs are uppering the salary of Bailey Smith but still isn't the level of Hawks
Any mention of what "A Graders" want to walk to the club?

Wasn’t it stated on here they missed out on everyone they were interested in this year for the upcoming off season and that’s why they have now upped offers such as Smiths?

Our history says we don’t attract A graders until they are in the decline

My concern for Croft atm is that he’s now playing forward in the vfl lol. Doesn’t really help us much for the now does it…

2025 free agents (that I consider an A grader and are an appropriate age group - nobody too old)

Cameron Rayner (debatable but giving him the nod as he's a former #1 pick)
Charlie Cameron
Harris Andrews
Jacob Weitering
Tom De Koning (more for scope, as opposed to output to date)
Alex Pearce
Andrew Brayshaw
Zach Guthrie (I know some may disagree, but is in the AA squad this year thus far imo)
Sam Taylor
Luke Davies-Uniacke
Oscar Allen

There's a bit there.

This is my personal opinion but I believe Marra will enter the midfield in a few years

Rayner is every chance this year.
I actually think Tom De Koning would be as good or better then his brother as a defender if given time there.

I really like the idea of Marra to the wing.

He played the role a handful of times under 18s and didn't look out of place

G'day Dogs fans.

So... Bailey Dale.

An absolute gun on and off-the field, and exactly the kind of player NMFC need for the next few years as we seek to lift ourselves off the bottom of the ladder.

Given the likely departure of Bevo at the end of this season (not trolling/being mean - just assume this is something that you all believe is likely?) do you think Dale would be 'gettable' in a trade?

And if so, what's he likely to cost in terms of draft picks?

Cheers!
Why is he exactly the type of player North need? Weird take.

Would De Koning want to play down back if he is enjoying playing where he is at the moment? I guess we'll have to wait and see if Hayward and Silvagni back that blues will play him or he goes to Geelong.

We never attract A graders. Need to hit the draft and develop our own.

Croft has all the tools to be a star defender.
Looked really exciting running and creating off half back in his first VFL game. Now playing forward hasn’t had as much of an impact but in a few pre seasons he’ll be massive.

Glad the club seem to be just as excited about him, hopefully we fast track him / he forces his way in by the end of the year. The quicker we get games into the better.

I haven't the slightest clue where he prefers to play, that's just where I would develop him.
Can definitely see him following Henry's lead and moving to be closer to his brother.

Getting Kolodjashnij and Ben Ainsworth as FAs will be a good start.
