Far too risky from our sideDogs pick next year could be as high as 5. If I were Gold Coast I'd take the offer in a heartbeat.

Lol... no it won't be... and the betting market for 2025 is testament that they won't accept thatDogs pick next year could be as high as 5. If I were Gold Coast I'd take the offer in a heartbeat.
Yeah... and now we have a new game plan and look fitter. It was always said the second half of the year would be much better.Depends on where they see the Dogs v Blues finishing in 2025. As a neutral you would think that Carlton likely to finish better than Dogs in 2025. The is a better chance that Carlton’s future first is 17+ and second 40+ after any free agency picks next year than Dogs F1 being less than 13. Before we went on our run of wins at the end of the year we were primed to finish outside the 8.

Guess what happened
You don't think it was?Oouurr second half of the year was much better?
I don't see the harm in offering JJ another year. Can provide cover fwd and back. Can provide leadership if he's in the 2s. Easy decision
I'd be looking at Matt Kennedy, underrated at Blues.Yuck
He's been cooked for years but no other club wants himHe's cooked. Needs to retire and free up a list spot.
How so? Yes he's had some nagging injuries, but when playing his form has ranged from okay to good. He's been cooked for years but no other club wants him

We really need WCE (with the Hawks pick post Barass trade) or GWS at pick 15/16 (right before Geelong) to tell Smith’s manager that they plan on selecting him in the National Draft if he’s still there.I think so. We’ll first ask for the 1st and F1s.
When that’s knocked back go to 1st, 2nd and F2 for Smith and F3.
think they’ll be harder to deal with than Brisbane though, who were pretty challenging.
I just hope the time it’s taking us to do a deal with Geelong isn’t tying our hands with any deals we potentially wish to doI reckon the folks who think there’s some big secrets and news that hasn’t dropped yet because we ‘run a tight ship’ in terms of news leaking are going to be disappointed.
But of course I hope I’m wrong.
That’s not possible is it?Carlton offering F1 and F2. Seems pretty unlikely that we would be in the hunt with our offer.
I believe they want to trade a F2 back inThat’s not possible is it?
You can’t trade a F2, F3 or F4 if you trade a F1 unless you bring a F1 back in?
Or have the rules changed
if we're trying to trade next years first into this year I have some horrible news for those who think we're going for big fish next year
Probably will want to trade our 2026 first out as well because of potential father sonsFree agency mate..
yeah it's a possibility but leaves us zero outs if we get a player interested and they're able to match to force a trade. or at least makes it excessively difficultFree agency mate..
