Sam DeKoning would be number one for me. Cats haven’t been able to get the best out of him for a couple of years now. If it doesn’t turn around this year he’ll be a bit of a distressed asset at the end of the season while out of contract. Could be a real trade bargain.

He was being trashed on the Geelong autopsy thread, saying that he has become soft/scared since concussion/facial injury, and want to trade him.

Bayley Fritsch is a very, very good player

I think he's a 'cherry on top' type of player who appears to have checked out of any effort at the Dees as they've slid down the ladder. His best is excellent, as we saw in that grand final no one cares to think about, but he's far from that at the moment.

Fritsch had 0.3 last game and has been poor for a couple of years now. He's not the same anymore. Same with a lot of the dees senior players. Though I wonder if a move to the backline for Fritsch is what he needs. Also Goodwin being sacked.

Yeah you'd be drafting him for what he could become. But looks like that progression could be very quick! He's only played footy for 3 years.

Worth taking a chance on a rookie spot imo as the upside is so high.

Another ruck option I like is 20 year old Alex Van Wyk. He is 203cm and more physically developed then Ajang although doesn't have the same upside I'd guess.

But Harmes is a good guy….not sure how many here know he faked an injury in the 2021 GF in the dying minutes while flogs like Fritsch were rubbing our nose in it so the sub could get some game time. Epitome of a team player

Remember back in the day, Talking Footy used to be about reviewing the games, the great performances, interviews with players, coaches etc. I swear we had 20 minutes of player trade BS at Round 3. Round bloody 3!
It's ridiculous. Enough.
