So sounds like North would have traded their future first straight up for 17 and that we would have traded if Hynes wasn't there. Sounds like the club rated him really highly. Hope they were right.Interesting read

Just run into someone I know and his son has some involvement with the Stingrays reckons Cooper will be a good playerSo sounds like North would have traded their future first straight up for 17 and that we would have traded if Hynes wasn't there. Are we at the second crest of a wave of euphoria with the bringing of Brew to the club. There was a decided dip in mood when we knew Bailey Smith was leaving for peanuts, then we went into free fall when all the players we wanted got drafted and we languished in the trough for a little while. Then the mood picked up as the assessment of our draftees was that they were exactly what we needed. And now with Brew at the kennel it’s onward and upward with no limits.
I love being a Dogs supporter.

That’s how I read it Cal Twomey did say before the draft that we were keen on ReidSo I'm reading correctly that we (and Sydney with their first) both offered our "Pick 17" (eventual 20) and F2 to Freo, hoping to get Reid?
We also offered same deal to Port and WC for 15 or 16, also presumably to get Reid?
