Would GWS just **** off already. The next 10 drafts will consist of them having two or more top 15 picks.

Also a former pick 3 and pick 5 for pick 2? Doesn't seem like a very good deal for GWS, even if Tyson and Buntine haven't produced at AFL level yet.

Maybe it's pick 2 for Tyson/Buntine & pick 9. Given GWS are getting Shaw and maybe one of the Pies picks they could afford to do it.

McGuane to go as a delisted FA. No compo. Unlikely there was ever going to be any anyway.
Bon voyage

I don't understand the idea behind this anyway. Brisbane won't be losing out on anything if they sign him now as a free agent. It's almost like McGuane and Leppitch are going out of their way to stab us in the back despite everything the club has done for them over the years.

Sorry to intrude.

One possible explanation is that the Lions don't know how to structure his contract until the trade period is over. After all, we have at least four trades to make, and Black yet to make a decision whether to play on. We might have a lot of cap space in 2014 or relatively little.

Your club has had 2 weeks to get deals done. That's plenty of time.

Richmond did all of their trades on the first day of the trade period.

So we must have agreed to delist him to assist McGuanne find a new home at Brisbane?? Hopefully there is some goodwill coming back. personally given the choice of getting nothing, I'd have kept him for depth.

In fairness, Richmond made one trade. More than 10% of Brisbane's list wants out.

We're onto the 3rd thread of trade rumours. We've made one trade... Now that's efficient posting!

P.S: How long have people been praying for a trade period where our outs would read: White, McGuane, Nahas!

Even more efficient considering RFC stated they would be quiet henceforth after the Hampson trade

Still don't think we're done yet.
We've been pretty good at keeping our cards close to our chest, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another minor trade occur.
Still think we are one small forward short.
Need someone with genuine pace too.
Haven't been following the youngsters this year, so can anyone give me a run down of a player that fits this criteria who we may have earmarked for our first pick?

Would not have minded keeping white, purely for his speed. The other 2 being delisted has made the trade period brilliant. Spuds of the highest order who are nothing but list cloggers. Them being delisted / moved on is proof we are on the improve.

They've done 0 trades in 2 weeks.
Looks like they are getting ****ed pretty hard on all these trades. Polec nominating Port is a kick, as now they'll probably have to take a second rounder for a former pick 5. Yeo was playing well and they look like only getting a pick in the 4th round. Only Longer would generate serious interest but no one wants to go to Brisbane and everyone is sitting on their first round picks.
