Imo wing h/b are the least of our worries we have a plethora of them.

Inside mids who hack the ball fwd or are ok. Ideally a Prestia who can break out and pinpoint a pass are ideal. It's the players who blindly kick the ball down the oppo interceptors throats we need to avoid. Turnovers kill. We've proved that ourselves.

Depends how he does it. If he kicks high as **** then no, but if he kicks low but a bit wonky it’s okay, if it gets to grass we are generally good. The type that turn it over in the corridor through basic skill errors are the type we don’t want.

We have a lot of wonky kicks in our side, it’s covered up by our hard running and handball happy attack but you only need to look back to 2016 and our hawthorn lite game style to remember how bad some of our blokes are at times. We don’t need a laser kick, just someone who can run hard and often, once we are out the back it’s far easier to nail out kicks.

Lol. The Compo equation is players age, length of contract and dollars offered.

Ellis is the same age as Motlop when he left the Cats, and has a longer contract worth more than Motlop, and Motlop got the Cats an End of First round selection.

Based on the AFL's own criteria, we will get an end of first round compo pick.

Agree mate, this is waaaaaaaaaaay over the top ridiculous.

I wouldn't be surprised if they shelved FA comp altogether, and I assume it was originally only brought in to protect the struggling franchises.

I know that we were keen on Zac Jones a few years back, so this rumour doesn’t surprise me. Looked really good early in his career but seems a shadow of the player that burst onto the scene early days. Still I’m not adverse to it.

I’d rather keep butler tbh, I think the syndesmosis injury affected his speed and agility for longer. Didn’t feel he was running freely and as quickly until the later part of the season. He has his faults and limits but I’m happy to keep him for depth.

Doubt Kamdyn is going anywhere - Menadue out of contract so he’s gone
