Hope you're not expecting a speed upgrade with Lever over Schaz...Levers 3.1 sec 20m time ain't exactly Ferrari speed.
They both do it through play reading and anticipation. Schaz when fit pre injury was quicker iirc. Levers playing excellent footy in an excellent system.
That's a terrible trade.

As much as I like Lever I think we are paying overs if that is the trade.
I would be expecting something back if that's the trade.

Why so?
The way I see it, its Lever for Schaz and a small downgrade in our pick.
Assuming next year is the super draft that all the experts are saying it is then the downgrade in pick may not be that much of a hit.
We haven't re signed any of our players who are coming out of contract this year
We are trading our 2018 (in supposed superdraft likely mid table maybe pick 10) for their 2017 likely pick 16, 17 or 18 in an average draft.
So we have no pick in the first round of 2018 but 2 in 2017.
