I'm 195cm and about 98kg. Pick me!
Is it true?

It would be good if they knew how to dispose of the ball after taking an intercept mark.
Yeah I dont see A or C happening.
If Melbournes 10 and 27 is turned down (which IMO is a fair price) I can't see Adelaide accepting any less. Even Pick 6 on its own (or equivalent) is not Unders IMO - and doesnt sound like Adelaide would accept it.
B however sounds like a possibility - if we could do a St Kilda and somehow scrounge an upgrade of picks from Melbourne then that would be a pretty decent outcome.
Especially when they say they expect Grundy to go on for a couple of years or more. They say that but he also spent the year in the twos. Don't think it would be that difficult to entice him to leave.
One day there will be only 3 key positions on the ground and he is an out and out star, who wouldn't want him? We paid the earth for a midfielder that only mildy affects games and this kid looks like being the future Rance. You seem fairly motivate d to get him.
I was thinking along these lines.Broomhead and Aish have no value. We are better of keeping them and hoping they somehow realise some of the ability they've shown in patches.
If we were to deal it would be better if we could offload someone Reid or Scharenberg who would have more value Adelaide as an immediate replacement and likely be surplus to us if Lever comes in. I don't like it though because we are trading out guys at their lowest market value to bring in a guy at his highest market value and the output or effectiveness of our team won't change drastically.
As I've been saying, Lever is going to Melbourne and if Connors wants him there he will get him there.
That one remains as mystifying as ever. We’d have to delist him to do that, thanks to the geniuses who decided to promote him last year.
I bet they win the Flag next Year
The only major first round howler I can recall in the last decade is Freeman, so I’m reasonably confident. And how confident are you that our recruiting team will get a player around the 6th best in this draft. I'm no more confident in our recruiters over most others at opposition clubs right now.
I'm just pointing out that pick 6 is no certainty of a great player.
Despite this I'm still inclined to use the pick rather than trading it, but I am open minded.
I see what you did there.Melbourne are definitely in the hunt next year.
Not as big as it used to. Talent id is a much more exact science these days, but there will always be late developers and Hail Marys that get picked later and turn in to guns.Luck plays a pretty big part too.
Great news (about Lever, idgaf about BK)Levers manager was just on the radio. He ruled out Collingwood. Ben Kennedy is available...?!

Great news on Lever then.
You keep doing your thing Mr Connors lol
In other news JT signed a 1yr deal I see.
Not bad.
If Blair is still around then definitely JT deserves to go again.
I dunno. Richmond gave Pick 6 and $750k per year for Prestia and Bulldogs gave 7, Griffen and a million per season for Boyd. That's some pretty big fishing. We have literally just seen the last 2 premiers with almost identical teams to what saw the tigers miss the 8 in 2016 and the bulldogs in 2014. Neither were built on trading away the world for a 'big fish'. Both were built upon astute drafting and development, targeted recruitment of players who filled needs, and most of all, a shift in attitude. This is the blueprint.
Ironically, they both lost whom most would have considered their 'best players' in recent times in Griffin and Deledio.
National draft day will be exciting, and we'll pick up a couple of players through trade but generally speaking it's like pulling teeth this time of year.So Another Boring Day
Was thinking along the lines of 6 for 27+Melb 2018 1st, then Melb do 6+10 for Lever+16... I like yours better6 and 36 for 10 and 2018 1st (likely in the 8-14 range).
Lets us take Balta (?) And an extra pick next year.
Lets Melbourne offer 6+27, and now have 36 extra... slightly better outcome for them than giving up both 1sts, slightly better for Adelaide than 10+27?
Any chance?
Boyd says hello and if the Bullies thought bigmen weren't required then why take on Choke. We have literally just seen the last 2 premiers with almost identical teams to what saw the tigers miss the 8 in 2016 and the bulldogs in 2014. Yes, we do need a line breaker to set us up off half back.Totally behind getting Saad.
Actually adds something to the dynamic.
