If the Bomber are into Cox and we are into sending him on, then it can only be part of some sort of strategy to land a targeted player IMHO.
Cox for a second round and cap relief
Cameron (of the non-Jeremy variety) comes in for a very late pick to replace Lynch for nt much alary cap differntial
Jenkins comes in on a low salary for a latish pick
Sharenberg goes out for a a third round and cap relief
Second round from Cox combined with our pick 35 and maybe another player/pick get bundled up to get us into the (late) first round
Maybe that all helps us land a big fish at the end of 2020 and in the short term Reid and Jenkins along with Mihocek (or Moore if we choose) are our key forwards.
In other words, keep Cox then its pretty big money and a three year deal. Replace him with Jenkins on base wage for one year and then you have maximum flexibilty to land Jeremy Cameron. I can see the logic in investigating the possibility but short term we might go backwards and theres still no guarantee of getting CAmeron
