I would prefer him over Ben Brown if we could talk him into another year or two. We’re in the window for next couple of years at least. I think next year will be a much better year for us. Still going this year too. So far.Well if he would be willing to move back to Victoria, why not?
Kennedy could drop off a cliff, hes basically geriatric now.I would prefer him over Ben Brown if we could talk him into another year or two. We’re in the window for next couple of years at least. I think next year will be a much better year for us. Still going this year too. So far.
Or Josh Fraser - but honestly, I didn’t mind Fraser - I think he was a good, honest servant and great clubman - I’m being flippant, but I cannot believe we traded down the draft when there was Pav.Or even worse, jack watts!
Not too late to merge those 2 basket casesBe the Smart thing. They really should gone to the Gold Coast
Cam Zuhuur is the player I would take in a heartbeat. Could turn out to be like Maynard -but in the forward line. Another take no prisoners player.
I think that trade down netted us the mighty Danny Roach at pick 7. One of our biggest trading clusterf*cks of all time.Or Josh Fraser - but honestly, I didn’t mind Fraser - I think he was a good, honest servant and great clubman - I’m being flippant, but I cannot believe we traded down the draft when there was Pav.
If I recall correctly, it was Clinton King and pick #3 (eventually Aaron Flora) for Steve McKee (another bloody ruckman after we were going to draft one with the first pick) and pick #8 (Chris Curran, I think, who eventually retired after neck injuries).
I don’t have the best of memories, but I think that’s how it all went - and we can all imagine what Cloke and Pav could’ve accomplished in the same forward line.
Should go straight to Selwood Saturday night.Would like to see Greenwood play another year as a tagger, week in week out.
The last couple of years we went away from that role, but I remember when he used to tag Selwood & Zorko out of games. Important to our midfield balance.
Should go straight to Selwood Saturday night.
Selwood may not even play, he’s just had finger surgery.
They’re saying he’s likely. When Geelong players bust a finer tendon they don’t miss a game, unlike Collingwood players who miss 10 weeksSelwood may not even play, he’s just had finger surgery.
Jordan Clark is a player I think we should pursue.
We've got Noble and Quaynor to play off half back with speed, just is wasting currency.Jordan Clark is a player I think we should pursue.
Ben Ronke is the missing piece. Make it happen!
Still no news on his signature, reckon he'll be delisted.

They play Papley, Hayward and Blakey, all small/med forwards, don't think they see a future for him. Didn't kick any goals in the 3 games he played, but had a fair few tackles. For a low pick, at his age, with his pace and tackling pressure, he is 100% worth a shotWhy wasn’t he getting a game at Sydney this season?
He’s had two great games in his career which accounts for over a third of his career goals. He averages less than a goal per game. That’s less than the much maligned Josh Thomas, who’s averaged a fraction over a goal per game since becoming a forward, even counting his putrid year this year. He’s about to be delisted by a bottom 3 club.Ben Ronke is the missing piece. Make it happen!

Who do you think gets delisted and moved on by other clubs, superstars? Yeah let's go get Papley and Butler for low picks and $200k a year...If you cant get a game for sydney you dont get a game with us.
In the same boat as Oscar McDonald.
Not worth it. At all. Waste of a list spot which are already reduced.
Lists are big enough to give young players a chance, especially ones that play a role that we literally don't have. I would not consider JT a pacey, pressure small forward. Atu is the only one we have, and he's not good enough. We keep Varcoe, Reid, Broomhead, so many more, on our list, and can't give a go to a 22 year oldHe’s had two great games in his career which accounts for over a third of his career goals. Honestly baffling how anyone could regard that guy as the ‘missing piece’.
We need a small forward but getting one that isnt up to AFL standard in a bottom 4 side is not the avenue.Who do you think gets delisted and moved on by other clubs, superstars? Yeah let's go get Papley and Butler for low picks and $200k a year...
Mate, you and others on this board need to be more realistic. We need a speedy small forward that tackles, JT and Atu are not the answer. Stevo doesn't play that role.
You're acting like players that can't get games for low clubs never have successfully careers elsewhere... if the coaches don't see the player in their future plans, they are driven out...
Butler couldn't get a game at Richmond, goes to Saints and he's the best small forward in the comp. Yes I know he came from a top club, but still...
WHO DO YOU PROPOSE WE PICK UP FOR THAT SMALL FORWARD ROLE?
