nah they just gave him a dons jumper and he will just live stream something from a vegas casino saying Yess

Straight from the Roulette table, we see a hand put chips on both Red & Black the camera pans up to Jake and then he says Yess.

Dogs have appeared as a potential suitor for Schache.

Ess: Stringer
WBD: Schache +30
Bris: 25

Brisbane would no doubt value Schache higher but there seems to be no other interest in him. I reckon 25 is about the best they will get unless they decide to keep him.

No way brissy accept that.

Does anyone think the dogs are now just posturing because they backed themselves into such a corner?

Im sure in their mind a bidding war between numerous clubs would have opened up for a former AA forward

I've heard they are trying to turn our 2 2nd into a first, if that doesnt happen do you think they will try get a set of steaks? maybe and exchange of later picks, so they go back to their supporters and say they didn't cave, essentially putting a positive spin on what has been an otherwise terrible fortnight for them...

I do think we should offer GWS their 2018 2nd back for Kennedy... at least dangle the carrot and force Carlton to up its offer. win win really

I think the Dogs are just trying to do the best they can with 25 & 30, whether it's getting a 2 for 1 deal or another swap of picks etc. It can take a bit of time, so can't blame them for taking a few more days.

I hear bulldogs only have two spots to fill on their list, why wouldn't they use our two 2nds plus their own to land schache and move there first round a few spots better?

The hype over wanting fist round picks and in particular top 12 picks is often a bit stupid. In reality if you are backing your recruiting team then getting two picks inside the top 30 for a player in any draft is still decent. Even the weaker drafts go deep enough to get something good in the late 20's to 40's.

Geez Bulldog fans are amusing me.

Why... why Doggies fans? Why can't you just admit to yourselves that yes, your club has ABSOLUTELY ****ED THIS UP.

I legitimately think you'll feel better if you do, primarily because you'll actually be able to target your questions and criticisms where they should be going - to your club.

This one is for the draft watches, how bad is this year's draft? It seriously sounds like picks after 10 is pretty useless.

He sounds completely devoid of any confidence. If we get him, I think it’ll take a lot of work on our part to get him back up and running - i.e. therapy amongst other things.

I would suggest that Essendon is infinitely better placed to offer support to a player, compared to an amateur organisation like the Dogs.

If they are only taking 2 picks to the draft I'd consider doing the following if I was the dogs

take 25 and 30 for stringer

send 25 or 30 plus a player who might want to head north for schache

take 9 and (25 or 30) to the draft

EDIT: Honeychurch apparently exploring opportunities... he could be the player to go with the pick to Brisbane for Schache

Surely they are not just taking 2 picks. Otherwise there was need to turn down the trade involving pick 11.

Solid top end without absolutely elite players up there (kind of similar to last year). LDU, Dow, Stephenson and Rayner will probably go top four. Then it opens up a little bit but names like Brayshaw, Cerra, Naughton, Coffield, Fogarty and Bonar should feature soon after. After that it's anyones guess. Given how late we come into the draft (assuming Stringer gets done for 25 + 30), some names I think we should be looking at are Shipley, North and Walker.
