We weren’t bent over by Port in the Ryder trade. Port had nothing else to offer and future picks didn’t exist then.

Paddy refused to go to GWS, who were happy to offer Pick 4 IIRC.
Port could have moved other pieces to get the right package, they just knew that had backed the Bombers into a corner and it took them throwing in pick 36 late in the trade period to push it over the line. Lets be honest pick 17 and pick 36 for a ruckman that had AA potential is probably there abouts but the 2nd pick didn't come till late if i remember correctly.

Well we were not getting close to market value early, and we tried to get closer to it.

Honestly, the saga aspect in a lot of those trades means i don't really care about it. Just think our reputation is over stated.

Plus, teams have been bent over worse than us considering all the circumstances.

Cooney has mentioned a number of times, almost daily that Dodoro is still unhappy with the dogs over the Crameri deal, and wants revenge...
Compare the pair;

Player one's final season before requesting a move
13 Disposals a game; 4.4 Marks; 1.9 goals a game

Player two's final season before requesting a move
12.4 Disposals a game; 3 Marks; 1.5 goals a game

One player got moved for pick 26, the other...... we will wait and see.

Motlop out seriously helps Geelong with Stringer.
600k freed up. Plus a compo pick to add to their hand.

I do question if they'd let him in their midfield though.
We would. We like runners. even if they are burst runners.
geelong is about pressure and intensity around the ball.

They are going pip us aren't they.

****ing Geelong

Pretty much the same information, but presented differently.

I don’t think Stringer knows what he wants to do, let alone his manager.

Considering it was the Dogs that sacked Stringer rather than him wanting out leads me to being pleased that he has taken his time because it would have been tempting to just jump into a new club without really thinking about his options.

And he said he'll sit down with Jake in 24-48 hrs and they'll nominate.

******* Geelong
Stringer is high risk, high reward
If I'm honest, he isn't a massive need, but a good luxury to have IF he comes good

Smith and Saad would be great gets.
And i'd rather not see Carlton strengthened further, as i feel their list is coming together nicely, than Geelong add Stringer and lose Motlop & Menzel.

Dodoro knows about as much about Stringers playing future as everyone else and that is jackshit. It is all in The Bulldogs hands and they have shut up shop. Wait until we have some information that is based on fact.

Tears are delicious. Brace yourself when your club accepts a second rounder for him

Well considering what was just reported came from his management I reckon we can safely say that's fact.

Unless you have someone down there at the Kennell ITK?

Jake Stringer's manager Robbie D'Orazio has confirmed that the forward has again met with the Essendon today and will make a decision "sooner rather than later".

Where is everyone hearing dis
