Daniher going gives us the cap space to lure a big fish via free agency and close the holes on our list with high picks. To shovel them instantly out the door for a like for like Cameron doesn’t leave us in a much better position and we are still miles off a flag.

This.
Cameron can kicks bags in his sleep but to do so he needs quality service from the midfield, which we can't provide.

Me.
Same place... Tom Browne and Sammy mc get gws / Ess info.

Daniher is an absolute truck of a person and lives in his own bubble. I am f*n delighted his gone. He is a ticking time bomb. 5 will get it done.

I'm now ranting.

Hurley is as selfless as they come. He holds value. He is ENTERTAINING the idea. I'll show you the fing text message.

Adrian dodoro is a soft delinquent.
Ask any ex bomber who still follows the club. Adrian is a flog.
Carlisle is right this clubs f’ed.

If Daniher goes then list-wise it’s time for a bit of a strip back. We don’t win a flag without him. It’s simple.

Smith, Shiel, Hurley, Heppell, Saad, Stringer Hooker and Tippa are the only players over 25 who’d really be a lock for the best 22. It’s not a bad senior group and the leadership group should come strictly out of there.

Keep pumping games into McGrath, Francis, BZT, Parish, Redman, Ham.

Merrett and McKenna are locks.

That’s 16. The other 6 spots and depth are open. We know the usual suspects who’ll be played, but unless they’re producing we should be booting them straight out and playing kids.

Glad you didn't include Zaharakis in that group....Watch him in a game....looks after himself and a bit scared. And the Club awards him best clubman...OMG!

Write off/development year looks like;

Ambrose BZT Redman
Francis Hurley Saad
McKenna Heppell Merrett
Langford McKernan Tippa
Fantasia Hooker Stringer
TBC Shiel Parish
McGrath Ham Smith Ridley

Meh. It was coming. "Lifestyle reasons" aka not as many AFL supporters will see me stumble out of a nightclub at 2am when I'm supposed to be rehabbing an injury.

We're pretty much screwed for the next few seasons with Fantasia also leaving. Might as well just get rid of any older players with value and stack up picks. I'm sure Dodoro will find some more flankers that we hope to turn into midfielders in the draft.

They have hardly contributed the past 2 years due to injury anyway

Could we be brave like Tigers were with Pickett? Bennell?

Pickett was their mid season draft pick, coming off a great WAFL season last year. He then had a good stint in the VFL.

Bennell played 4 games of WAFL this season. His body doesn’t allow him to play more.

We selected pretty well with Snelling, he came in a played a role in the seniors when required.

That’s more write-off than development. It’s just this year’s team, I’d think we need to go a bit deeper.

If we’re serious then we have to act fast this trade / draft period.

Three ideas -

Get in a young ruckman who will be at the club for years - and play him. Get games into him immediately, don’t waste time with Bellchambers who will certainly be in his last year and should only be depth. Let a returning Draper compete with a young bloke.

Ambrose can be nothing more than depth. Yeah we love his hardness but he’s 28 and isn’t going to improve. He should be behind BZT, Hurley and Francis.

Langford straight to deep forward, the only place he’s ever shown anything. If that doesn’t work then he goes in 12 months.

Pravo, at least some have heads screwed on right...

You not what other boards are probably saying? Have a look at the Melts on Essendon board.

Stop panicking and welcome to the new world, let's hope we capitalise on this opportunity to get more high quality players in that makes us more attractive to free agents in future years.

Who gives a ****?

I'm hearing the exodus of quality players is due to Woosha being coach and how unpopular he is with the playing group
Most of our talent have signed on. Only Joe & Raz, who have hardly been on the park for 2 years.

Yaeh, they are gun players when at their best but in reality holding the club back. Not sure Raz has durability for AFL.

Not if doggies don’t cough up pick 12....give saints 10 and I reckon he would play with you guys

He isn’t worth that. A known commodity that’s going to give you 35 goals a year is a pick in the 18-20 zone. A pick 10 you’re looking for an AA contender.
