If they are doing that stupid Deadline Day show again on Fox Footy, then most likely the Daniher trade will be held off until then. I can't see Joe staying at all. The trade will definitely get done.

depends if the club has the b@lls to make a statement that contracted players dont rule the roost.

Unless the swans come up with the goods im happy for Essendon to make such a statement even if Joe wants to wait out a year.

In my opinion Joe should be backing himself to have a big year, in USA they term it contract year, when majority of players have a big year to sign a maximum deal.

If he sooks it up he might get $800K a year from Swans, if he lights up his value might go up to $1.2m a year (illustration purposes only, not exact figures)
