I wonder if a future first would be the way to go (instead of 2 firsts this year). Gives us a good chance to get a key forward in to replace Joe down the track. Although (if he doesn't leave until next year) we would have 2 anyway I guess if there is a Compo pick.

Edit: was just thinking the AFL timing to get rid of Compo picks would be about right to screw us out of getting one for Joe anyway.

Future first works, but I doubt Sydney will entertain it due to the academy player next year.

Hypothetical? Would anyone entertain the idea of giving up 5 & 9 (presuming we get that for Joe) to GC this year for their next years 1st and second rounder? Presumably pick 1 and pick 19?

Would give GC an awsome trade hand this year 1,2,5,9,16.

Is there anything better than talking up Dodoro on the D&T board? Oppo fans struggle with his existence so much.

Wouldn’t mind Johnson, he has some talent and should still be on an AFL list

he trained with us pre draft and I also think he was some sort of Essendon academy member at some stage. We were very keen on him before his draft year. Wouldn’t be surprised if we pick him up.

Not sure but I would imagine Rowbottom, Blakey and Parker have all been mentioned. Swans would be very reluctant though.

It's the only way he moves. He doesn't move for anything less than 900k IMO

It's what many have thought to be the missing piece. By getting him we would be in the frame for the next 2-3 years and even beyond that

If he checks out fine in a medical and we lose Joe than I don't see the issue with not giving him big coin. He's Adelaide's best mid right now and he's hitting his prime

I don't. I'd say we're more likely to crack first than them I'd think we're already considering pick 9 and next year's first
