Yeah I’m getting a bit concerned tbh. Dodoro’s view is that our list is entering the premiership window. There’s no window without improving our midfield.Trade period is just about over with still some dominos to fall. But I really want to know one thing;
Understandably we've spent a lot of time dealing with Joe/Sydney - but we are really going to go into another season without trading for a big-bodied midfielder?
No Brodie. No Wines. No Sier. No Greenwood.
What the fu** are we doing to address perhaps our most pressing need?
I'd like to think so, but geez. I'm getting a bit worried. If we don't trade for any midfielders but keep Daniher; this would still be a failure of a period for mine.Yeah I’m getting a bit concerned tbh. Hopefully we’re having some conversations in the background.
Reckon Bombers are too accepting of guys that have average to poor disposal skills. Would be nice to get some silk in that department. Don’t reckon we will ever threaten until we get that.Yeah I’m getting a bit concerned tbh. Dodoro’s view is that our list is entering the premiership window. Also, why aren’t we looking into Jenkins? Reportedly willing to play for 200K. Adelaide reporting no club has approached them. If Daniher is leaving, it makes a lot of sense. Can’t rely on Smack and Brown only.
No Brodie. No Wines. No Sier. No Greenwood.
No we don’t, but if he does leave...If daniher isn't leaving .....do we need Jenkins?
Perhaps they are confident of an outcome.
Reckon Browns major issue is soundness. Limped off early in final after starting well. McKernan’s issue is consistency. No we don’t, but if he does leave...
EDIT: and Jenkins is much better than Brown any way.
Daniher’s swans window closing. No way he’ll go through this circus again next year, unless there’s a T Kelly like treasure chest forthcoming in the next 48hrs.

Doesn't have to be them specifically although it's definitely been left too late. I'm sure GC would've parted with Brodie if an offer were presented to them earlier. There are plenty of them in the league. Going into another season without one is poor list management if you ask me.Three of those guys were/are unavailable.
Devon Smith is not the answer at all. He's a small flanker. Bit of mongrel about him sure. But he's no Wines/Brodie aka a player we need inside. There's simply little to no one available that can fix our midfield next year
Devon Smith is as much of the answer as anyone on the trade table
SPP was the best bet

Certainty to get done thenTom Browne on the trade table saying that Sydney don’t “appear interested in getting the trade done”
That's what it looks like to meTom Browne on the trade table saying that Sydney don’t “appear interested in getting the trade done”

This is awesome. No way Joe goes there next year after this. They have fumbled their chance. Pretty lucky they’ve attempted it this year, if they’d made the play next year as a free agent we’d be in trouble.
Smith is half the answer - manic pressure on the oppo midfield.Doesn't have to be them specifically although it's definitely been left too late. I dont understand why the bombers wouldnt entertain taking 5 an 9 for daniher. It allows them to inject 2 quality players on their list, where they havent had first rounders for a while.
You can get jenkins cheap 3rd or 4th round pick, whose output for a year should be 25-50 goals with the ability to play substantial time in the ruck, which is one of the bombers weaknesses.
Dodoro could even be brave and try send 5, 9 and heppell for 1 and 2. I dont see a spot for heppell next year, hes not quick enough for the wing, not big enough for on ball and players like parish have gone past him. You could be brave like clarko was with lewis a couple of years ago.
You could use one of the picks in the 30s for the young gws mid and i would think the bombers would still be strong shot at top 4 even with trading joey and heppell
They've offered 5 + 25. Not 5 + 9.I dont understand why the bombers wouldnt entertain taking 5 an 9 for daniher. It allows them to inject 2 quality players on their list, where they havent had first rounders for a while.
