Would you guys do our 2017 1st for pick 7 this year?
Ok but only if you do your 1st this year for our 2017 1st.
Deal?

What are the chances of you guys trading 5 + 7 for 1 & 19 or 1 & a future 2nd (agreeing to not bid on your kids) if you're able to do another Boekhorst trade with Carlton?
Rules have changed for the academies btw. But a first for Breust is doable. As long as the Hawks pay a percentage of his wageI honestly have a feeling Bruest is gone. I think now the hawks realise he is a good chance to go home. that leaves gws or swans.
GWS i would prefer due to talent, huge amount of picks (which you don't need lets be honest) and what you guys offered last time around. (2x first rounders)
Do you guys have academy players you need points for?
is 0% alright? still a %%Rules have changed for the academies btw. But a first for Breust is doable. As long as the Hawks pay a percentage of his wage
Im fairly certain we still need picks. The AFL wants em for our acadmey kids.is 0% alright? still a %%
you guys could give up picks, you don't need them anymore. only mature bodies.
I've posted on your hypotheticals board possibly of acquiring Bruest and I hope we can. Baulked at the suggestion he is worrh Kelly and Williams.is 0% alright? still a %%

I have a feeling we might get better value for Pickett, if he wants to go, from WA clubs. They always like their own. Lot of ifs there. What else would we have to give up if we were to include Stewart and Pickett in the Marchbank trade?
Doubt Stewart would be the sweetener. Pretty sure I saw one of your guys rating him as a 3rd rounder. If it was Marchbank and Steele, then we'd be talking about pick 5 being involved. I'd probably prefer we keep it though and get McGrath/Brodie/SPS.I have a feeling we might get better value for Pickett, if he wants to go, from WA clubs. They always like their own. Wonder if Stewart could be the sweetener to get your first rounder for Marchbank? Think that appears more likely.
Fair enough, I dont disagree with round 3 estimate. He's still young but hasn't delivered at AFL level when given a number of chances so far. Steele might be an option.Doubt Stewart would be the sweetener. Pretty sure I saw one of your guys rating him as a 3rd rounder. Yeah I feel SOS is more in the Wells and Wright mold of understanding where negotiations are rational and considered. He's not gonna stuff around with some Dodoro tomfoolery.Fair enough, I dont disagree with round 3 estimate. He's still young but hasn't delivered at AFL level when given a number of chances so far. Lòoking at your picks, there's some chance the Marchbank trade could get ugly, but I hope not. He's chosen to go and I hope he has a long and successful career at Carlton. With the SOS link and I think general trading goodwill the negotions will hopefully come up with a acceptable solution.

Small forwards who can consistently kick 45 plus goals each year and apply defensive pressure do not grow on trees. So I am hoping Hawks keep Bruest.
However - IF he was to be traded, then GWS would seem like a good fit, based on both needs and his family origins.
What could GWS offer? Kelly is very good but you have loads of talented mids. Tomlinson looks promising but hasn't really cemented a spot in your best 22 until recently. Hopper could be a gun but is still unproven.
Personally I would hesitate at a straight swap for any of them, but two together could be worth more than Bruest.
What go GWS fans think might be a fair trade?

Apart from talent, not much differenceWill a 2016 and 2017 second Rd pick be enough to get Marchbank?
How different is he to James Aish that was taken at 7 by Lions but was then traded for two second Rd picks
Assuming you guys end up getting pick 5, would you guys be open to 5 & 7 for our pick 1?
Yeah, probably not. We're after the two highly rated Academy boys, one good medium forward (via trade) and maybe any other Academy player. We're stacked with midfielders and defenders. We'll lose 4-5 players as expected, but decent compensation will allow us get in good players.Probably not in such an even draft year.
But I'm not on the list management team!
