He may not be as tall as Smillie but plays taller than Smillie. Much stronger overhead. There's no point having the height and not using it.

I felt that was collier Dawkins problem. He never used his height or weight.

Dusty isn’t huge but he’s always used that weight to his advantage.

I’ve told you about Travaglia in the midfield. Mate messaged me and said he is top echelon in there.

22 touches with 10 tackles and 2 goals is pretty impressive.

He kicked 3 in one I've watched. I think he's a mid eventually at AFL. Will start half back though. I have him ahead of your boy Reid (by 1 spot lol)

Now you are becoming _RT_

He’s not an absolute giant though, and not as big as Smillie. Isn’t just his size, he just looks a footballer.
He’s a big unit at u18 level though, 190+ and would have to be 88-90 kg.
There’s not too many that can match that.
If he can play against VFL sized opponents and win clearances it’s just another box he’s ticked. The same way Smith and Draper have done, albeit they are type of players.

Agree with you though , he looks a natural footballer. And he covers a lot of ground for a big mid.

we wont get 2 in the top 10 this year or next year unless we trade Rioli/Bolton/Balta
Not correct. Send Baker and our pick F2 to WC for their F1. Add in a late sweetener if required. This is just one example of possible trades. WC and Richmond will end bottom 3 in 2025. You could be talking pick 1 and 2. Also if Balta left as an unrestricted free agent you could be talking 1,2 and 3. Our recruiting staff need to be super active. Note: I don’t advocate letting Balta go.

Would be great to see a Tigers junior in Smith get drafted by us.
Terrific player.
But Draper looks a cut above.
But also no guarantee we get pick one.
Two winnable games before the end of the year against North and Suns.
To tank or not to tank?
North have two winnable games as well in Richmond and WC in Tasmania.

No way we will beat Norf at Marvel imo

Who are we forcing out? Dependant on mutual agreement of course but I would be up front with each of them.
Seen it too many times Bob. Being “upfront” with players can cause a lot of disharmony within a club. Need to be very careful treading that path

No interest in Draper? Looks a gun
Agree Draper does look good but he doesn't fit in to the type of midfield group I would hope we build for the next premiership tilt.

What our 2017 to 2020 side showed me is you need to be different from the norm with the overall make up of the team.

Recruit best of type you want for future side not best available of anything .

For The record I don't think Yze will have a vision of the future side and will just make do with what ever random recruiting he is given .

Lol, yeah, right, the coach won’t have any vision of player types he wants or have any say in the type of players we recruit😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.

What type of midfield group are you hoping for? All 190cm + big bodied guys?

Models his game on Rozee (movement) and Butters (hardness)

Careful sure, but at the same time, you can't bullshit players by telling them one thing and then doing the opposite.

I hope that in exit interviews Yze is informing every player that they may not necessarily be assured of playing regular AFL games next year and they should be prepared to play VFL, then let them make their own minds up as to whether they want to stay and fight for a spot or depart the club.

Don't think you can tell Baker, Rioli or Bolton they're not guaranteed game time 😆

Graham and the super old campaigners only
