To date we've seen a top 4 Geelong land Dangerfield on reduced money and soon to be premiers Richmond land Lynch on the same. Franklin on big deal to the reigning premiers too.

I would suggest it is just another one of those. As has been posted if we traded Dixon and Howard we would be left with only one tall forward.

In addition why would we want another 191cm defender particularly a 24 year old who has managed just 38 games in six seasons ? We already have Tom Clurey, Trent Mckenzie, Ryan Burton, Riley Bonner and Jarred Leinert plus a slightly shorter Tom Jonas on our books. All of these guys can play as 191-193cm defenders so unless Scharenberg has plans to reinvent himself as a key forward we have no right being remotely interested.

But hey, we are Port Adelaide so anything can happen.

Ouch Ross, I thought we had gone past Matthew Allen. I think I would sooner take Scharenberg.

Literally only really good players who are FAs next year are Cameron, Whitfield and Williams.

And I can only see us going for Williams.
