Thought they came out and said they wouldn't be matching it. Well played Hawks to get their man (although, why they'd go after that spud is beyond me). Puts pressure on their Cap but means they don't have to fart ass around with any picks which they may need for JOM and Mitchell.

They won't match the offer, Hawthorn have offered him a stupid amount of money which unfortunately for us means a decent compo pick for the tigers which they'd take happily.

Some transparency on how they calculate the compensation would be nice. It's the seemingly arbitrary nature of the whole thing that shits me.

We need to somehow find a second first round pick in the 12-18 range even if it involves trading are future first rounder next year for one this year or trading out a player this year.

If we can then snag 2 of say SPP, Logue, Setterfield, Bolton, Florent or Venables id be stoked.

Dream out of that combo would be SPP/Setterfield plus if he added Drew In the second round you'd go a long way to fixing the midfield plus adding some size hardness & aggression to the team!

BOND 007 what are the chances that we would look at trading next years future first for another first this year? Do you know if this has been floated by the recruiting team at all? Or even think this is something they would consider?

There is desire to have more than 1 pick by 25. Not sure they will give away next yrs 1st rounder but - some good talls coming through

This is my point. I know compo is worked on points system based on slary, age etc. But wtf? Would be good to see how they come up with that shit.
