I have seen some pretty bad trade suggestions this week....but this one, well lets just say it is right up there!!
Totally agree! Akk the whingers complaining about Ebert will have cause to regret it if he is traded. Ming you, the same whingers have complained about everyone from the coach through to the captain and seem to think throwing a mob of kids on the ffield with no on field leadership will provide a premiership....absolute rubbish!He's 20 years old. His DE has improved. It will improve further.
My point before was he has improved. He will continue to improve. Let's not try and trade every player who doesn't currently meet our standards. There wouldn't be many left if we did. I guarantee that in 3 years time many people will be surprised at some of our young guys who have become A graders. These young guys will continue to develop. No doubt some of the people bagging them now will come out and say they knew all along.

Interesting development indeed if true - the benefit for us is at least he is contracted.
Not sure if there is anyone we'd want in return at the moment.
If Port can get us a pick within the top 10, I'd take it.
But that and only that.
The other bad news is that he is terrible and you're stuck with him.
Is there actually a decent source for this?
There are only certain types of players in the AFL that are worth a Top 10 pick. Brad Ebert is not one of them. Pick 16 is fair, as he was Pick 13, and is still only 20 years old.
But definitely not Top 10.

Not bad work by Ebert to be getting himself traded while on holiday in the US and writing for the Eagles website.
