Forgot about that one as well. Looks like old DT is 0-2 in regards to what GWS were planning on doing. Then again its not surprising.
In fairness they should be doing what DT says. I just hope the AFL save them a trip to Skilled Stadium (cringeworthy). Someone will break the biggest margin ever and highest score ever.

Lol stopped listening to DT last year. Has absolutely no idea and imo just follows the headlines then has a guess.

Hasn't got one thing correct in the past and this year.

Not having a go at him as it is still good reading, but honestly I wouldn't get caught up in it.

DT just posted on twitter that Sydney have offered a late pick for Dan Connors... havent heard this one in the media so if it comes to fruition then it is clear that DT does have some sources

Isn't it about this time in tradeweek that Carlton or Essendon get linked with a big name player ala Daniel Kerr... stay tuned!

You mean like how Carlton were linked to Goddard?

Essendon were linked to o'hAilpin

Surely the tiges are contemplating having a crack at one of Brad Dick and Brent Macaffer. We are light on crafty small forwards. Both superior to Matty White.

Could be worth taking the risk on Dick's shoulders... wouldnt have to give up much

Greg Denham said on SEN we were interested in one of the out of contract pies.

I hope to god its Macaffer as I really like him and think he would be a good addition to our forward half.

I also hope we retain Mitch Morton.

Would be very happy if we could pick him up cheaply.

Brad Dick? LOL ;)

Macaffer flogged us R17 in 2010. Probably registered with the staff

Silvagni has stated catergorically that they are not interested in Goddard at all. Looks like another piece of DT info is proven incorrect.

to be fair to DT, clubs and player managers are lying their asses off this week

Fantasia and the dogs have repeated several times now that the media allegations they were shopping Cooney were 100% wrong, and at no time have they put Cooney up for trade or received inquiries for him.

Sounds like more misreporting, but then you have Greg Denim today saying thats fine, except he had more than one club official tell him personally they were surprised in discussions with the dogs that they were asked about interest in Cooney.

Someone is lying, be it the dogs, the club officials who spoke to Denim, or Denim himself

Personally I think most players get shopped, even if its just to check their value in the market. you cant say that publicly though (because the fans freak out, and the player stops feeling the love), hence the need to lie

Add to that I think some clubs will let slip that someone is being shopped around when they aren't in the hope the player gets annoyed enough to leave and be on the market.

On trade week radio they said "listen up Richmond fans". I reckon we have another trade about to surface other than Maric.

Hopefully. I'm pretty bored.

MaCaffer would be nice. Can play that mid-sized 3rd forward we lack. Player swap or something.

I doubt it would be a player swap, as Collingwood are off loading Macaffer because of salary cap issues. Reckon it would be a pick, but I reckon mcaffer would be a great get.

What picks can we give them though? Only have a pick left in the 50's. Doubt they'd take that.

Leave Macaffer for the PSD I reckon.

Once Brisbane get picks for Clark, they won't need their 3rd rounder. We'll take that for McGuane.

Morton and Connors for whatever we can get.
