Ideally you get a few of those upgrade targets at their lowest ebb. Balances things out a bit. If you're bringing every premo in at full value you're stuffed.

But if all premo's fluctuate 50-60k throughout the year you still wouldn't be able to do it. I know there is going to be bargins i.e. priddis atm. But ideally you want 4 of the top 8 fwds and backs, 6-7 of the top 12 mids and 2 of the top 4 rucks. All will be over 500k.

Ideally yes, but I don't think you need that many of the top overalls to do well. History says you don't even need that many to win. Just the right combo. Brining in a guy who's been playing terrible off the back of two strong games who finishes the season strongly whilst the top tier slow down could be the move that wins you your league or the whole thing. So many variables. Fruitless trying to aim for the best of everything.

In your defence Beams wasn't too bad a choice. Absolutely no one could've picked that would happen with Beams knees after his first game, looked superb. Even the specialists he's been sent to can't identify the problem.

How Many injury trades do you need after round 17. i can full premo out but have 5 trades left. Is it worth sticking with someone that's potentially premo to keep more injury trades or even holding the trades longer and doing them on the verge of finals. (about the league, overall is a bonus)
