Need some help. I want to trade Scarlett this week.

Heres the math.
Scarlett $223,700 + Bank 108,400 = Trade Money $332,100

Pretty much I have $332,100 to spend on Scarlett trade but I also want to trade Playfair when he gains some value. So say Playfair reaches the $270,000 mark I will want at least at $300,000 player. This means I should probably only spend $302,100 on a player I can trade for Scarlett.

BASICALLY I WANT TO KNOW THE DEFENDER I SHOULD GET IF I HAVE A MAXIMUM OF $312,100 TO SPEND.

Could you give us your backline team??

Get rid of Cloke.
Jones can do better then him..so can the Roll-dog

6 - not ideal, but no point sitting on my trades when the team's not performing. Should have a playing emergency in every position, and probably leave 4 trades to cover injuries.

Sam Fisher isnt a real liking for me but its your choice.
Others have high hopes for him!
He usually has 70+ days so he is a good pickup.
What are other peoples thoughts.

He has been better then Milburn this year.

Maybe go Fisher

Gamble is now part of my starting22 with Valenti/Morton as cover.
centreline reads Cross, Swan, Murphy, Power, Goodes, Palmer, with Armitage/Geary as cover.

Okeefe/Bartel is more consistent

i like Bartel/O'Keefe.
Bartel gives an you an automatic captain.
O'Keefe is the Darren Milburn of the forwards.
you could probably get Franklin for a cheaper price after some low scores.

Hmm okay... I'm not that keen on Fisher either but I think i've narrowed it down to:

Ive just thought about my situation a little bit more


Its gonna be hard to do my ideal trades as it would mean I cant really milk Masten

Heres the problem:

If I was to trade Bird for Sharrod, then It would mean I'd be starting cotchin when I trade him for Masten.

So heres my dilemma:

Option 1:
Week 1
Bird>Sharrod

Week 2
Masten>Cotchin

The final four middys looking like this
Palmer
Cotch
Browne
Sharrod

Option 2:
No trades this week

Next week:
Bird or Masten to Cotchin
Bird or Masten to a resonably priced Gun


Thinking about it, Option two sound superb

Everyone this is 4 trades that I really dont want to use because I will only have 9 trades left.. but that might mean that I wont have to trade unless injury strikes or somebody peaks...

I will only have 50k in bank but that means that my forward line and midfield are all the goods.
Will look like this;

Franklin, Chapman, R.Murphy, Brown, Porps, Pav and Fevola

I have underlined the trade I im thinking about.
I have my midfield listed above..also underlined but I have an option.

Wellingham is getting 60+ scores and should secure a spot in the team.. maybe instead of getting Cotchi I can get Wellingham and then pickup Bartel >> Swan.

What do you think?

I may not be able to afford it in the end but it might help me with having an extra 40 grand in the pocket for laters.
