Maley in his words was "putting on a f*cking clinic" during the goal kicking drills and was pretty pleased with himself (all in fun and showing what a character around the cub he will be).
Thats pretty arrogant considering the companies he's in. But I like that in a forward.

Honestly think it will be Jy solo captain and Larkey VC if we are fair dinkim

Would have hoped Lmac would be standing out but he seems like the bad habits were too ingrained and he will be forgotten which is a shame.

5. Curtis Taylor - one for the BFWBC

Has improved each year until this year when he plateaued. Entered the year as a natural Hf with a bit of X factor and good over overhead and was transitioning into a high Hf/wing type. By the end of the year Eddie Ford might now have that role. With Dyl Stephens & Colby recruited it puts more pressure on him to regain the upward momentum. Still young so has time on his side. Might be on our best 25 but necessarily in our best 22.

Nah, he didn't improve each year. Did some mercurial things in 2020, and then basically flatlined from there until this year, when he promptly spiralled downward in every facet except marking.

Had big expectations for him under Clarko. Now I'm just pissed off at him. These days he's slow, with a non existent leap, and weak as well. Clearly sees training as optional. At this stage he'd surely be among the end of year delistings

we still only have vfl listed boys training with us (for exposure and synergy) no other players outside of that

rawlings did mention monitoring others who are training at other clubs for SSP spots (maybe Pat Voss training at freo as a KPF) which makes me think we are either doing that or leaving it open for the MSD

unless we invite a few to come train in the new year

6. The Warlord

We need to balance the need to get more games into him against resting him occasionally due to the inevitable battering his body will get in the inside mid role. It would be handy to develop another string to his bow so he is not just an inside mid ala Matt Rowell and we can rotate him through roles in games. Hopefully there is no repeat of the soft tissue injuries that have impacted his last two seasons.

I agree with Wonderdog not saying he will be a regular next year but has improved in nearly every category in his 5 years with the club except for last year.

For football players during the off-season?
it’s very normal
Boogie Let GIF
25 year olds looked very different in the 1970s to the way they do now.

His most exciting moments for me still happened in 2020. 2021, he continued to show the odd glimpse, then Noble had his aneurysm or whatever it was (I'd kill to know exactly what happened with him between the end of 2021 and mid 2022).

Whatever 'it' was meant CT was played out of position for the entirety of 2022. The statistical increase is misleading, because that position just happened to be somewhere where he got more of the ball. His actual impact was negligible, though a goal every 2.5 games off a wing in that team wasn't a terrible return.

Then this year he basically had no interest in anything at all, and looked visibly lacking in any physical traits whatsoever. Anyone still with hope for him is imo extremely optimistic. Every forward flanker we have, even the new draftee, looks better at football than he does.

McKercher might go for Sheezel's 1st year possession record if he's allowed to just jog around the hb line getting easy touches.

He might not be as impactful as Sheezel, thats a high bar, but he knows how to find the ball.

Clarko must be extremely optimistic other wise he would have been delisted with the rest.
