Genuine pressure. At one point Adcock had to tell X and Moose to relax in the ruck.
Monday and Wednesday the last 2 sessions of the year 9:30am-12What are the days and times next week?
I might come down to the Fish Market at Vic Market and get some prawns and anchovies for Christmas Day and drive all the way out Plenty Road on the way home

But posters were telling me that Will Phillips isn’t fit.Just back from LaTrobe - 3.5 hour session for the boys - all were struggling with the back to back run thoughts at 12.15 but Will Phillips was the guy going strongest at the end. He is well and truly over any gland fever and other issues - he and Jy the fittest 2 out there by a far margin. And he racked disposals up in the match sim as well.
Nice set up out there at Latrobe btw - plenty of room, ovals and facilities - but in the middle of Jan it will be hot and windy with no shade/trees at all - boys will be doing it tough then.
Probably not much more to add except I thought Wardlaw was much better than solid - I thought he was fantastic. Tackling was ferocious and no different from what he would do in middle of June. He only knows one speed - and that is flat out. He will be starting in the centre square with LDU and Jy.
Mckercher plays Round 1 - in defence - although I think we all expected that anyway. Run and ball use brilliant.
Duursma classy - one touch player - judges the mark and drop really well. Still noticeably lightly framed so whether he plays round 1 will be something to watch but the class is there.
Bailey probably the most vocal in the match sim - really barking instructions.
He played today in the 'b' team in his usual small defender position - and then in the drills following match sim he was one of the defenders given the ball to work their way through with precision kicking. Didn't do anything wrong. One guy I've heard little about is Bergman. What's the deal with him?
Not today - he was in the side group not playing. Didn't look injured as such but didn't train with the main group and didn't do match sim.Anyone see Riley Hardeman in the match sim, if so, how's he tracking ?
He's an under-the-radar, steady-as-she-goes, rock-of-Gibraltar, minimum-of-fuss, get-the-job-done type.One guy I've heard little about is Bergman. What's the deal with him?
Bit of both - plenty of players happy to have photo's after training (mainly those in the recovery group) but that said after 3.5 hard hours on the track alot of players just want tgtf out of there (and that is very reasonable as well).Ok thanks
Are there opportunities after training for Meets and Greets or is it low key, yeh I’m leaving vibe?
yeah and especially on Wednesday the last training session of the year they will want to start their 3 week break asapBit of both - plenty of players happy to have photo's after training (mainly those in the recovery group) but that said after 3.5 hard hours on the track alot of players just want tgtf out of there (and that is very reasonable as well).
Sure, but I haven't seen any mention of him in the commentary/reports and don't recall seeing him in photosHe's an under-the-radar, steady-as-she-goes, rock-of-Gibraltar, minimum-of-fuss, get-the-job-done type.

Monday would be the best bet to stop them for photos etc
To the market?Monday?
How’m I going to keep Prawns for 7 days? I might go in January
How did Clarko and the selectors take it when you told them you had made this decision? Did they even know you had been granted veto rights as a condition of accepting the gig with North?Corr and comben will be the key talls
So pink won’t be playing unless they get/stay injured. Break glass in case of emergency player, state league type
Biggie or Dawson as a third tall should get the gig so maybe give them a harder opponent now
He’s played defence for a week. But it’s a lock apparently lolHow did Clarko and the selectors take it when you told them you had made this decision? Did they even know you had been granted veto rights as a condition of accepting the gig with North?
lets put it this way they didn't melt and have a sook about it like you didHow did Clarko and the selectors take it when you told them you had made this decision? Did they even know you had been granted veto rights as a condition of accepting the gig with North?
13. Tucker
Not a bad first year given he didn’t have a pre-season. Showed why we recruited him. A mature body that can play on all three lines. Might be a stopgap measure to give the young guys time and games to mature but is doing all that can be asked of him. Will be interesting to see how he goes with a full pre-season and with the chasing pack getting more experience.
Its only 40 odd posts over a couple weeks - nostra does that in half hourWonderdog - I’m a fan but can we plz move to a more appropriate thread?
