I'm going to build a wall right across the Murray River, and I'm going to have Eddie Maguire pay for the bloody thing if youse don't get off yer powdered backsides and get some REPORTS to us with hungers.

It won't be long before the guys hit the track, after having 10 weeks of rest and recovery.
There will be some preparing already, with the rest due back soon enough and straight into full swing for the upcoming season.

For now we can just track the status of the players.

Is Pickett good to go?
Has Marchbank got over his shoulder surgery?
Is Sheehan locked and loaded?
Is Murphy finally on top of his ankle issues?

Who else went into surgery and when will they be ready to resume?

Harks, looking at your original post, are we any wiser?

I feel like we've learned nothing this pre-season.......

Someone whose opinion I appreciate, brought up the term exuberance when discussing our team today.
I just thought that term hit the nail on the head for what we want out of our squad.......and it doesn't have to be just young exuberance.

If we can promote and then harness genuine 'exuberance', it will quickly filter through the entire squad.
Love watching Harry Mckay & Charlie Curnow, as I'm sure I will Petrevski-Seton & Fisher as these guys will bring fun....competitive fun...back into training.
It showed up last year and even then you could tell that some of the seniors guys wanted to buy in. It's contagious.

Holy ****, have a look at his ball contact at 27 seconds. Dear God..................
Thy, I don't want to alarm you, but later on he snaps a goal along the ground.

What the **** is going on

Get giddy excited when I read about Charlie......question is, where does he play this year, is he big enough to play KP??

Good question Stig.

He may not be the conventional 'tall enough', although Nick Riewoldt is the same height, but he does have many attributes that would allow him to play a roaming forward role. His huge tank and aggression for the contest would hold him in good stead, I feel.

Got 1 word for all of you - Charlie ******* Curnow.

Good word. It works.

Charlie, Harry & SPS are the players I can't wait to watch this year...and if Pickett comes along, then even better.
Those second tiered thrillers in Weitering, Cuningham, Marchbank and Silvagni will just have to wait a little. :)

This may be a silly comparison, but Charlie C reminds me a bit of Josh Kennedy (WCE) in the way he prances onto the lead and takes the footy....
