How's Summer travelling, this time last year he was a little porker.

Assuming it's his first decent pre-season in forever, and with that skill set......another one for the excitement list.

Good call.

Sumner is such an unknown commodity. He could still be the best of the lot from the GWS trade in 2015.....

Picked at 10, check out the names he went ahead of: Greene, Docherty, Devon Smith, Bootsma.......

He also comes across as a likeable character, which counts.

Can't begrudge the club for doing what it's doing but generally speaking, the autograph sessions are usually quite limited.

Anyway, not much we can do.

With Bolton having such a young group, I'm really not surpised that training is going on behind closed doors.
Bolts is very vocal out there and I'd imagine it's more then likely he will be riding the players pretty hard, to help educate them it's probably better for that stuff to be very much in house at this point in our lists development.
It's sucks for us, but it makes sense that Bolton wants that privacy at this stage.

Saw Harry and Ben McKay at the cricket on Sunday, think David Cuningham was with them but not sure. Harry was noticeably taller than his brother and I know this board has a tendency to go a little crazy on player heights at times, but I'm 202cm and he was at least eyeballing me, looked a bit taller. He's listed at 200cm but you can forget that.

Phillips is out with a stress reaction, our ruck stocks are looking pretty shaky. How's your ruck form?

Sumner and Cuningham are two that I am really keen to see after a full pre-season. They have serious talent, if guys like that can get their hands on the footy enough they will make a tremendous difference to our list. Here's hoping with improved running ability we can see these two gather enough possessions to impact games.

It has been brought forward that Harry is 204cm.

Reckon he was almost there half way through last year, as he was taller than Gorringe who is listed at 200cm.

That tackle in the clip was awesome

How about when he was trying to break through the tackle.

Thought he was going to hurt someone!

He's got some aggression about him.

There is reason many of us are really excited about big H.
Kids a monster 202cm+, but doesn't move like you would expect, he has some serious agility, his potential is off the charts.
Andy McKay summed it up pretty well last year when he said "you can just see the kid has got something special"
He does have a very unique combo of height, agility, skill and aggression, can see him being a real problem for defenders to match up on, we are going to need to be patient, for a KPF he is just a baby.

Probably 20 K as that's a traditional size weight. But you do see coloured weights these days that vary in depth and weight. So 50 could be likely too.
You've got to stop responding to that darthbards idiot on the main board, he just sounds like a sad, lonely moron (although at least you could see a little bit of passion in his enjoyment in shit stirring Carlton supporters in the uncool player thread, which although annoying does show a little personality). If you are on the main board just accept whatever thread is created he will 100% type negative Carlton shit, he is absolutely obsessed. don't feed trolls.

I'd need 3 milk crates to get up 200cm.

I hate to say it, but I can see him playing in the same vein as young Daniher.......

Only he can kick straight and doesn't have a face that a mother would struggle to love...

Would love for Sumner to justify his draft selection at #10 and show why he was taken so early.
For Cunningham to step up this year would show that the CFC has the ability to develop kids and that we are able to now select talent beyond the top 10 in the first round.
My opinion is that both players need to be able to find the ball a lot more and rack up possessions to become regulars, as I believe this is where they both currently are lacking.
I know that's a little harsh on Cunningham as he did show glimpses in the 3 games he played and in 2016.
For Sumner I think it's about an uninterrupted preseason and finding him the position he is best suited to allowing him the ability to show just how high this kids ceiling is.
For both to come on this season would be huge in terms of the rebuild as it would mean the recruiting is becoming consistent and improving.
