Figure i just might get to sit on the cousins table... or should i says the cousins mums table !
One of my mums bridesmaids (on the left) was a silvagni, they lived next door mum just told me. So serge lived one end of canning st, mums family lived in a cottage the other side of the road to the dan Oconnell hotel in canning st. Rita silvagni was mums hairdresser. The silvagni mother helped look after my nonna in her later years. My mums italian Carlton heritage is fairly significant as well - the family shop (the double story shop opposite dan Oconnell) was one of the very first espresso bars in Australia - my mums family were a part of the cultural change in Australia, something i am very proud to be able to say.

Great story! Your mama looked absolutely beautiful, too.

Fisher is a very quick thinker and moves the ball on at lightning speed but with effectiveness.

Even the highlights from the one game on YouTube, show him thinking his way through situations. i.e. Smart Footballer.
You can never have enough of those types and as much as I wanted another grunt player, I'm already thrilled for taking this little gem.

Don't like mentioning players from Essendon* - but Fisher plays a lot like Darcy Parish - always on the move and getting involved in the action; great thing is we didn't need to use a first-round pick to get him!:D

Have the new guys got nicknames yet?
What would we propose?

Jarrod Pickett:................De Fence.
Harrison Macreadie:........Hammer (HaMa)........Ok, it will be H.Mac 2 or something like that.
SPS:.............................I always see Siposs up seeing those letters together. Probably Sammy. Right?
Cameron Polson.............CamPo is a good one. (suggested elsewhere)
LeBois:.........................Bossy?
Tom Williamson.............Tommy...........You know it will be............or Willo.
Pat Kerr........................Duck (only a few may work this one out :))

Just because it is cricket time..... "Singles" for Jarrod Pickett
every time I see Cameron Polson's name I think of Nicholas Cage in Con Air
SPS - wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with the "tail" he has going on

Pat Kerr - I like duck

Zac's only limitations come the AFL draft was his height, had he been taller he would have gone earlier.
He is a one touch natural footballer with elite disposal, good reader of play, good speed and as long as he puts time in the weights room should be in the starting line up sooner rather than later.
Bolts and co look to be building a list that not only move the ball quickly with high end disposal, but with players that can break the lines with speed with a solid defence. This should see the CFC once they regain possession try and build from defence and move the ball to the forwards with precision and punish teams on the rebound.
The side is a couple of years off being consistently competitive but the initial pain will be worth it.

No nickname will ever match Kieran Collins at the Bulldogs - Dad

I doubt our boys will get more creative than Picksy, Samo, Macca, Kerry, Willo and Campo

If I could force one onto them I'd go LeBois, French for TheBoys, call him 'Garçon'
