All of you questioning/lumping Craig Bradley in the lacked courage category, please go to YouTube and watch Craig Bradley a tribute Australian football video from 2000, Greg Williams himself said he used to think Bradley was soft until he played with him and realized what he would put his opponents through, not all competitive animals are the same

Oh please!!! Loved him as a player but lets be honest. Just because he is a club champion, lets not get carried away. He avoided contact where possible and rightly so. He was soft relative to his team mates yet he was a very smart player with an exceptional work rate. Never questioned his courage.

As far as I am concerned all AFl players are required to possess a certain amount of courage. His hurt factor with ball in hand and professionalism (with the exception of his contract negotiations) were second to none . Lets not get too defensive discussing past champions.

The point I was trying to make is that not every carlton player has to be a contested ball machine. If Blaine like Craig Bradley can finish off the hard work of his team mates with an assist or goal then he will be a valuable contributor to the side.

Dirk with a smirk

Fisher looks taller than expected

What's with Marchbank's tongue action ;)

List looking better everyday
Fisher looked about 17 at the gold coast camp,he will probably still sprout an ich or two-->quite very much underdeveloped yet already effective in his work in midfield...!
Have the feeling something significant will happen with him,he has the enigmatic aura of brilliance...the coaches were swarming around him at training.
I know a lot of supporters go on about our drafts ,however Fisher might be an exception.

Fisher is a very quick thinker and moves the ball on at lightning speed but with effectiveness.

Even the highlights from the one game on YouTube, show him thinking his way through situations. i.e. Smart Footballer.
You can never have enough of those types and as much as I wanted another grunt player, I'm already thrilled for taking this little gem.

Figure i just might get to sit on the cousins table... or should i says the cousins mums table !
One of my mums bridesmaids (on the left) was a silvagni, they lived next door mum just told me. So serge lived one end of canning st, mums family lived in a cottage the other side of the road to the dan Oconnell hotel in canning st. Rita silvagni was mums hairdresser. The silvagni mother helped look after my nonna in her later years. My mums italian Carlton heritage is fairly significant as well - the family shop (the double story shop opposite dan Oconnell) was one of the very first espresso bars in Australia - my mums family were a part of the cultural change in Australia, something i am very proud to be able to say.

Well that's the best thing I've read today.

Not just because of the Carlton connection( although that is awesome) it speaks to many important topics in our lives that we rarely acknowledge.

And goes to show why 40 blokes wearing a funny outfit and kicking a pigskin around can mean more to people than some cheap entertainment. Love it.
