I dare someone from this forum to rock up as Santa, in a North jumper.

I'd do it, but Mrs Agenda owns my sack.

I got burnt on Friday - was 18 degrees!
The UV rating doesn't depend on the air temperature - if you have a northerly wind, it's sunny and 42 degrees at midday, it's still the same sun as when you have polar #%$in wind and 15 degrees like today - though if you have enough natural talent for sunburn, you don't need to worry about UV ratings. I was in Scandinavia for a bit in July. Temps up to mid 20s but max UV rating only 2 - like Melbourne's in winter. Still got burnt.

I won’t type an essay, however I’ve been impressed by a few;

- Powell. Very clean in ground ball work and his kicking was a highlight. Seems to have put on size too. Could be his year.

- Drury. Didn’t participate much in main training, but was off to the side with the other first yearers. Hall was giving him some instruction as to leading up at the ball carrier and marking out on front and he was following perfectly. As mentioned very impressed by his use by foot.

- Archer. Has put on size. During some full ground work made some great spoils and positioned himself well in front of the key forwards. Will never be a flashy player but a player who will play a lot of senior football. Teammates love him.

A few other observations:

- Tucker, Logue, Wardlaw doing their own session on a seperate oval. Some light running and basic skills. Corr not on the camp I don’t think.

- Clarko and Tarryn have a great rapport. Having a laugh together. Has potential to be one of the top 10 players in the comp. similar to Powell, could be his year.

- Slight concerns over our ruck stocks. Xerri and Free are meat and potatoes footballers who belong in a bygone era. No skill at all. If Goldstein goes down we might be cooked. I suppose CCJ could play a role there but wouldn’t want him rucking full time.

- Cunners. Our best player.

Clarko pretty much did this previously at hawks - just need a nank style ruck that smashes in
And even if they dont reach the heights of goldsteins ability, surely one of xerri, ccj, free, or edwards could get that down?
