So anyone going to Arden Street tomorrow morning for the final session of the year?

Yeah me
Mainly to renew my membership, plus my non football crazy son is mates with Wardlaws from high school, and wants to heckle him while he’s doing laps

Bumped into another dad from Auskick during the week who is a mad * supporter. Is super pumped about BS at the helm.

I'm pumped for him also, just not in the way he thinks I'm pumped for his team!
As much as BS was a smarmy DB, he did end up taking a team lacking talent to two prelims.

If he had of gotten a couple more wins in HA season in 2014 & 2015, we may have made a grand final. Say nothing of the abysmal luck we had in 2016.

If we had 50% more luck going our way with players like: Jacobs, Higgins, Hansen, McDonald and Waite and I think we would have won 2-3 more games and finished with either a home final or double chance.

Would agree that getting to a couple of prelims was a good effort from BS but the key call out on him was that he never made the top 4 in H&A. Sure, a few things went wrong along the way but he had 10 years to achieve that and didn't.

His other challenge was an inability to arrest momentum swings, there was his plan A and then we move to other plan A. Other coaches find ways with in-game strategy changes.

Jacob Edwards looks like he's put on some size, but seeing him next to BMac does he's got a ways to go.

Flynn Perez looks awesome. is taller in person than he looks on TV. Very fit. Phoenix is moving well.

Still hard to believe the general out there in the middle of it al is Alistair Clarkson.
How’s everyone fave Kayne turner looking? Training with the backs?

Hamish Free looks nice. Big unit.

I agree with others: Chom looks amazing. Has been hitting the weights.

LMac is now beardless.

Monky is going to be a positive influence around the group. Constantly praising the players, and giving feedback. Keeping up the talk. John Blakey, standing with him: much quieter.

I'm at Arden st. The boys are already out.

Griffin Logue doing running by himself. Not sure what to make of that.

Too difficult to spot many others from the location I'm at. The mood amongst the boys seems positive.
Probably seen Darcy and his missus lighting candles, firing up the hot-tub and dusting off the Barry White CD’s so he got out of the house..

Or he could be just an excellent trainer..

I’m sure it’s been said before but those teams did not lack talent.

Match Sim now. Whites v. Blues. Phoenix wins a HTB free with multiple efforts. Then later takes a mark and kicks a behind. Looking good though. Had been in everything

Eddie Mazda looks fit, has slimmed down.

The whites have the more established players (Goldy, Cunners, Seevo, BMac, etc) but the blues are doing better.

Clarko the central umpire. 5 min qrtr just ended.

Goldy, Swallow, Wells, Harvey, Cunnington, Waite, Tarrant, NDS, Higgins, Thompson, Petrie, Jacobs, Ziebell…

Started again. Chom marks for the whites and kicks a goal from the pocket. Checkside.

LDU streams through the middle, 3 bounces, kicks to a contest, Souva crumbs and kicks a goal for the whites.

Sleevo having a shot from 50 for the whites after a lace out delivery from LDU. Nails it. The whites have dominated this quarter.

What role is TT performing?

Geelong Hawthorn Sydney from the same era had a lot more depth and top line talent. I reckon we played well as a team and with momentum were really hard to beat. I’d add Thomas to that list too.

The prelim loss to WC was an absolute capitulation.
