The boys look in great shape, watching them walk out. Cunners may not be 100% according to some, but he's out there.

Tommy Powell has definitely added size. Can't see Wardlaw yet but there's 40 or so players warming up with footies.

They're about to start.
Nice.

Looking forward to the updates.

Logue and Tucker doing run throughs away from the main group, with Spicer joining them

Still haven't spotted Warlord, nor Brayden George.

Stevo looks fit, but his BMI must be about 18.0. Nothing on his frame at all.

Arch looks great. Moving beautifully. Ditto LDU. Sheezels ball handling, even in these short drills, is a thing of beauty. Just has those quick hands.

Keep up the great work mate

Contact and handball drills now. Phoenix has rejoined the main group. Drury's hands in close: nice.

Lazz looks good. Has obviously worked hard so far. Voices and intensity up now for the main group.

Logue still working separately but he's moving okay, so not sure why he's not with the main group.

Clarko has stopped proceedings for a moment to give the whole group some guidance on picking up and dishing off.

Kicking drills now. Clarko setting the standards for what he wants. Can't hear exactly what he's saying but he's in charge.

How are Chom and TT looking?

Miller Bergman looks good. Nice skills.

Darcy Tucker just jogged past. He's a nice size in terms of muscle mass. If he's fully fit he's going to add some bulk to our team.

Ziebs matched up on Cunners as the backman & forward.

Kallan Dawson still impressive, as per last year. Players doing one-on-ones in front of us.

Brayden George and Aiden Corr just arrived. Doing rehab, clearly. Started walking a lap.

Groups have switched now. BMac v Larkey, Sheezel v Lazz, Perez v Mahoney, Edwards v Goldy, Archer v Harvey, Goater v. Chom. Interesting matchups. Basically one-on one contact defensive spoils.

Half field match sim now. Stevo almost caught with the ball, didn't hit a target. Turnover.

Daniel Howe, nice 50m pass. Another Stevo turnover. Not good. Daniel Howe is going to play games this year. Moves well, great kick, good size, etc. Brilliant spoil as well. He plays rd 1.

They've switched ends. Different group now. Hally doing what Hally does: run and carry. I'm impressed by Lazz today. Clean. Perez nice by foot. BMac clearly the QB, but turned it over there.

Boomer running these drills and coaching them. Aaron Hall misses his target but Arch went in hard (heard that before) and got it back.

Goater has looked nice in a HB role.

I think with body composition considered, Stephenson body expectations should be limited. His bone structure and density shows he is an aerobic agile type of athlete. Size may be detrimental to his game - in saying that, no excuse for lack of leg development. If he got some quads and hammies - I will shut up.

Kayne Turner on the other hand. I have no idea why he is starting to look like he has just completed his first or second pre-season. Similar to Stephenson and Bailey Scott he isn’t built to put on muscle. But there is no excuse why he hadn’t developed a Joel Selwood type of frame 4-5 years ago.

*edit. I take it back. Scott is built to put on size, I reckon he is just being a little pedantic with his strength training intensity.
This bloke used to go ok without being built like Carey. Stephenson has the physical assets. He needs to add the mental ones.

What position does it look like Lazz is training in?

Loving the write up too mate! Greatly appreciated.

Third group now with possession.

Drury nice hands, linking up with BScott, who looks good today.

Paul Curtis unbelievable. 50m stab pass through traffic to hit a teammate on the bounce.

Drury clearly in a HB or pocket role. Has been prominent. Wonderful one hand pickup from WiPhi. So composed.

Players resting for a bit.
