Pretty sure you will find he's a flog

Maybe loco will out crazy him

https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Mickael-cuisance-de-nancy-a-gladbach-officiel/799714 )

So he's a flog because he ran down his contract and left Nancy to join Gladbach and is a flog because he rejected Man City to go to Bayern? There's plenty of young players that fit that criteria then.

I've read an interview of his in the last few days stating that Pep called him personally and it was the hardest thing he's had to do was say no to him. As he wanted to go to Bayern.

He's definately an arrogant/confident type, but most of the best players are and they all want to play week after week.

Anyway, it's all a moot point, he's a supremely talented player that is going to make us ALOT better if he fullfills his potential. I couldn't care less what he's perceived to be as Bielsa's one non negotiable is attitude and work rate. It's Bielsa who is the one that has personally requested him and he kind of goes into a little bit of detail on these matters.... he watched 16 hours of footage on one of our youth team midfielders in the Covid break to determine whether he had earned a contract extension, so I imagine he's probably done some due diligence on Cuisance.

One of my mates joked that with Bielsa at the helm you barely need a scouting department :p

Serves that supporter right for insisting that Eric Cantona show him a demonstration of what he did to Leeds United when Manchester United came knocking. I mean shit, your supporters can’t even truly hate Eric Cantona because he’s a legend of your club. Bit of a pickle you find yourself in.

Way more misses than hits and mostly all of them at crazy high prices.
The only miss is Mendy IMO.

Maybe Cancelo, but still early days.

These are part of one of the most successful periods in the clubs history. If they were all flops we wouldn't have won anything.

I dont know about that.

Ake - 45 million
Cancelo - 65 million
Angelino - 12 million
Laporte - 65 million
Mendy - 57 million
Walker - 52 million
Danilo - 30 million
Stones - 55 million
Otamendi - 44 million

That's a lot of defenders for a lot of money since the start of 15/16 season. For contrast that's Liverpool in the same time period.

Tsimikas - 11 million
Van Dijk - 75 million
Robertson - 8 million
Klavan - 4 million
Clyne - 16 million
Gomez 3.5 million

Pretty crazy.
cancelo wasnt 65 mil, the deal included danilo and cancelo was valued at about 30 mil. laporte's release clause was 57 mil. otamendi was 32 mil.

regardless, it's too early to tell on ake, cancelo needs more games, angelino will be sold for profit, laporte is fantastic, mendy was good at the start but knee injuries took their toll. walker has been great, danilo was meh but we broke even selling him, stones' clearance was the difference in the title race and otamendi was a very solid contributor over the years until the last season.

funnily enough cancelo's best games last season were at left back.

Forgot about Cancelo as a LB possibility. Was good towards the end of last season.

Not spending 153mil on a player who hasn't even established himself yet. Let alone they didn't want to pay 120mil for Sancho.

Hopefully that one year for koman is still in the air.

Felix was 120 and played about 5mins in Portugal...

Not sure how true it is but stranger things have happened.

Historically not to bad for Barca info iirc. Was early on the Messi to city story.

Possibly Barca propaganda?

Just cause they don't want to pay the Sancho asking price doesn't necessarily mean they wouldn't pay more

GOAL] Barcelona rejected Man Utd's £136m bid for Ansu Fati before the wonderkid signed a new contract at Camp Nou. According to Catalunya Radio, the Red Devils were then willing to pay Fati's £154m release clause until Barca informed them it had risen to £363m with his new deal

Things that never happened.

Nothing says ‘well informed‘ quite like Goal.com

They are apparently pretty good for Barca

Not that good. I don’t think United will ever operate like that where they will make a £154M bid on anyone.

Yes he is

As far as 17 year olds good he is pretty dam good at football

Idk sounds like they are happy spending ~ 100 sancho

My “Not that good“ was in reply to you saying Goal.com are pretty good for Barcelona. I agree that Ansu Fati is a very good footballer and one of the best teenage footballers around. Now he’s going to get more opportunities to start and so he should.

IMO it’s one thing spending £100M for the English born Jason Sancho and it’s another story bidding over £150M for a teenager who has been with Barcelona for 8 years. I just don’t reckon United would have place such a massive bid no matter how good of a footballer Fati is.

If they have all been hits why do you keep buying defenders?

Because we want to improve our squad.

Our defenders pre Pep were Clichy, Kolarov, Delph, Mangala, Demichelis, Kompany, Zabalate, Sagna.

How many defensive signings would you expect us to have made in the five years since?

Law] Lampard will sanction Loftus-Cheek loan move but insists the midfielder still has a long-term future at Chelsea

How old is he now?

Best finding a permanent home.

To me if you are happy to spend 80 on slabhead spending a bit more of the highest rated young players doesn't seem that far fetched. Even if unlikely

**** yes. Sometimes I have no idea if Woodward has any idea what he is doing. This is what happens when you let someone who should only work on sponsorship deals to be involved in transfer dealings. He gets eaten alive year after year. It’s a bloody circus every summer.
