Marcel must have coin on Kane moving. How much TAB offer you??
My hope is they finish top 4.
Back it up. Don’t go too far now
I hope they fall in a hole and miss Europe. That lot in CL is enough to make me vomit

i threw up a little when i said it.

silver linings though.
Levy hates no one as much as he does the garbage from east london.
He might just fork out 500m in a single window to get above them :p

Sounds like fake news spread by the United to drive up the price.
It's happening.

Real Madrid & Paris Saint-Germain Showing Early Interest for Lazio's Milinkovic-Savic | The Laziali
they've got a lot they could move on for a bit of a refresh

Varane, Modric, Kroos, Isco, Benzema, vasquez, hazard (if anyone would go there), get Bale off the wage book, Jovic.
Asensio probably become surplus if Mbappe lobs up. or goes to the bench.

Not sure how the backs are, or if Courtois has made any ground on the gap Navas left.

(Kane)

Selling big to fund a revamped squad didn't work for them in 2013. Levy should hold him to his deal. Can only think of four suitors anyway: City, Utd, Juve, RM.

Poch connection in Paris and it's a chance of being manageable financially, but I doubt he'd want to go play in France at this stage of his career.

Unlikely he moves domestically, so that nixes the Mancs from the equation. Unsure whether Juve has the means, or that they'll back Pirlo for that matter. Top4 isn't a certainty either. Real you'd think would prioritise whatever funds they have to sign Mbappe.

99.9% sure (at this stage) that he stays.
The sale of Bale is held up as a beacon of why we should sell him. We sold him and propelled ourselves to regular CL, title charges and a CL final they'll say.
We deserve to let him go they say.

The sale of Bale only propelled us to a higher level ironically because the manager at the time AVB wanted him kept then struggled with the 7 - mostly misses - they bought with the money. His caretaker replacement introduced Kane, and his permanent replacement made us the force that prompted the rise in performance. It wasn't because we used the money to reinvest in the squad at all so advocating the sale of frankly the man who has us as high as we are - relatively speaking - is waving the white flag back to midtable and lower for quite some time. He may be worth 120m to a club in Europe. He is priceless to his club as he cannot be adequately replaced. He is a no.9 and no.10 at once. The best passer at the club, deadly clinical and an almost never miss pen taker.

I think the reddit, twitter, forums sentiment sum up that the small amount of contributors on this board advocating we sell him are wide of the mark. The key message in those spaces is if Levy sells Kane: We riot. Sorry BF yids but disagree with you more on this I cannot.

When he does…

As long as Haaland stays away from using chainsaws. For a footballer valued at £150M, that is actually hilarious.

yeah.
Eriksen was the gun amongst them, and i think we'd have bought him anyway.
VDV was getting on and picking up injuries iirc.

we had too much money that we knew what to do with.
Lloris
Walker - Vert - Dawson - Rose
Sandro - Dembele
Lennon - Eriksen - Siggy
Ade

with Kane in the wings
Solid squad that had Dele, Dier & Davies coming through cheap the following year.

Spent 87m we didn't need to just because we had it.

If a player genuinely wants out it's hard to keep them. You might hang onto them for a year, you might hope for a change of mind. But you do run a risk of a player losing form, focus and value if they're forced to stay against their will.

A lot depends on how keen the player is to leave and what he's prepared to do to push a transfer along. If he wants it bad enough, a player will get the transfer and there's nothing clubs can do except get the best fee they can negotiate.

Kane doesn't strike me as someone that will push too hard, but he might think that he has more than earned a move.
