You're not. He just wants to play more often and in his favoured posiion. He had his best season last year too, by a country mile.

I mean he played 51 times for Liverpool last season, 31 starts and 20 times off the bench but mostly at full back.

Maybe he does want to leave and get more playing time at CB?

Would have thought Brentford were the ones that have rolled the dice and busted out. Slapping a 100 million price tag on him was dumb when in all likelihood they could have sold him for the same sort of price as Solanke at the time. Toney will probably be happy to run the contract for 12 months now and leave on a free with a mega sign on fee.

Staying in the PL is worth more than 100 Million to a club like Brentford.
