United and Chelsea should have an end of season play-off at Wembley. Loser keeps Sancho.
Would fill the joint and both sides would try their hardest to win.

Chelsea to try their hardest to win and Sancho to try his hardest to be the loser we all know he is.

In news that will shock no-one, Talkshite reporting that Alexander- Arnold has agreed a 5 year deal with Madrid.

Shame to lose him, I’ve loved watching him over the years, absolutely outstanding player.

He’ll cop a lot but for me I have no ill feeling towards him. He’s honoured his contract and now wants to try something new. It’s his life he can do as he wishes, I don’t think he owes anyone anything.

Good decision by Trent, he'll be surrounded by world class players. I think playing in a team like this he knows when he goes forward they'll have his back, whereas Liverpool struggle with that lol

Time for Pool fans to send off a club legend. He was outstanding for them, has to be their best academy product ever.

I love your persistence, keep trying petal.

This always comes up as a thing. When the PL tried closing the window before R1 it didn't work becasue other leagues could still sign players and this caused issues with PL clubs unable to replace outgoing players.

All of Europe should be on the same page transfer window wise with the exception of leagues that compete in summer (Scandinavia).

Is this a serious post or comedy?

I think most Liverpool fans will feel the same. It's a short career as a footballer so they should all make the most of it. I'm sure Trent will celebrate winning the PL as hard as anyone.

He is the best academy product of LFC easily. Won everything available at the club, honored his contract and deserves a heroes send off. Also the tactics part is true as well. RM are another level, Valvarde is the perfect player to cover him. Whenever I watch Liverpool they suck at covering him and blame him. Slot is a bit better but Klopp was a comedy show.

Aren't you happy for him? He's going to another level now. Win for all parties.

I know X isn’t exactly a breeding ground for the intelligent but the amount of Liverpool fans I’ve seen turn on TAA in the last few days is quite astonishing

I find this funny when fans from other teams are like, cant believe they've turned on him. When they all literally do it when it's their team involved. Ashley Cole as an example at Arsenal.

Ashley Cole back flipped at the 11th hour to go to one of our biggest rivals for more money.

Trent is leaving to join the biggest club in the world after having won every trophy there is to win with his boyhood club.

Not quite the same.

Only because you guys reneged on an agreed deal and left the door open for us. Was a cracking get.
Yeah it was well before my time as a round-ball fan so I don’t hold the same disdain for him as most Arsenal fans do. I only started following the sport towards the end of his Chelsea days.

Robin van Persie however….

I’m not sure renege is the most accurate description, I would say more so it was failure to match. The difference was £5,000 per week in the two offers (famously Ashley had to pull over in the car as he was driving, he was that incensed). The relationship between Cole, Wenger, the club and Cole’s representatives completely broke down. I don’t believe any party came out of the looking great.

Arsenal at the time probably underestimated the financial power Chelsea had in the aftermath of Abramavich entering the game (also in terms of agents fees, incentives etc), and hence paid the price so to speak in losing an integral, key player at the peak of his powers to another team in the same city. Completely different to TAA and Madrid, Cole is the wrong example to cite in that reference.
