Everyone's different I guess. Even just reading the Lillie James stuff was pretty tough.

Yeah fair enough.

I can dettach easily enough - and even with two daughers (wife was actually still pregnant when we watched it last week), and I found it OK.

But each to their own - don't watch it if you're gonna feel uncomfortable.

Yeah I think I struggle to detach a bit, hard not to imagine my little one in those situations so find it pretty tough to get through. I think it's probably worth trying to force my way through just so I'm not putting my head in the sand about this stuff though.

I mean, of course it can happen to anyone's child.

It was more what if my kid turned out like that, rather than get killed.

You know yourself best, don't sit throught it just cos.

My wife has similar issues when those starving african/palestinian children are on TV.
