I know he gets double teamed and Lonergan is one of the better fullbacks going around, but I thought he was abysmal tonight. There were a couple of frees he should've been awarded, but he didn't hold anything, second efforts and his possessions were really ineffective.

Fumbled marks, frustrating but whatever, the lack of second effort is very disappointing and puts him in the blame.

I would also possibly part the blame to Bucks who did not push him up the ground more.

He was beaten by Lonergan but to suggest he didn't try hard is way off the mark. Very predictable roast.

Has to be dropped to send a message to rest of squad.
I don't think so.

This statement would be more applicable to Swan, but even then, probably wouldn't do that.

Lonergan is probably the best nullifying full back in the game imo. Very hard to score. That said, Cloke has no tricks when he can't mark it.

yep.. like Swanny, Trav had a bad game.. does this really need it's own separate Roast thread?

Jessie White shouldn't play ruck, get that through your thick skull Buckley

Dawes playing ruck didn't work, Lynch playing ruck didn't work, wtf makes you think White playing ruck will work?

Cloke neds support of a key another key forward and he isn't going to get that if we keep playing his support players as second rucks.

Play Witts, he needs to get some exposure at AFL level. He can also take a mark and kick a goal in the forward line and needs time to settle in our forward structures.

The obvious solution is to play two ruckman, all the top 4 teams of last year played with 2 ruckman, teams this year are even willing to play three ruckman.

I love Grundy but he needs some support in the ruck, he's only in his second year so why do you want him to be our number one ruck with no help Buckley?

Grundy looks like he can take a mark in the forward line but your not giving him the chance to if he's playing number one ruck with no support. Grundy doesn't look like someone who can float forward and kick a goal like Goldstein.

Very predictable response... Seems plenty agree. I won't be saying anymore on the matter.

You play Witts and we lose not only run going forward but any forward pressure.

Sorry for coming onto your board but I completely agree here. White is not really a good ruckman. He is much more dangerous if he is allowed to be a genuine roaming forward.

Still not convinced that we have a game plan. Defense looked chaotic and unstructured. Lots of panik football and some players that run into team mates (Maxwell, Lumbaba)
