Someone has to give Grundy a chop out. You can't play Grundy, cloke, white, witts/hudson in the same side.Sorry for coming onto your board but I completely agree here. White is not really a good ruckman. He is much more dangerous if he is allowed to be a genuine roaming forward.
Cloke's becoming a liability in the forward line. not his fault either, for years now the umpires have let his opponent get away with so much. it needs to end, its becoming a joke and costed us many time tonight. it ends NOW.
Why aren't you coaching? You seem to have all the answers....

even push him up the ground. but its hard to do that with reid out. i reckon had we played well in the first quarter and hadnt have to kick 6 goals in the second term, things would have been a lot more different.Yes, The Club has to do something about the Crap Cloke puts up with
Bucks should have given Trav a run in the ruck tonight in the second half when it was clear he was getting smashed by Lonergan and Grundy was struggling... Had to be worth a try..
Maxwell was getting towelled until he got injured then came back and steadied the ship somewhat then went missing.
He has his moments but we as a club need to find the new Maxwell hopefully one that can kick and defend 1v1 when required.
Maxwell was not our worst tonight but he is not the answer.
Maxwell was one of our best in the 2nd quarter when returning from injury.Maxwell was one of our best again tonight.. even after rolling his ankle.. great effort!
I think the last 2 years of experience with our inside forward 50 delivery has decided Trav that he may as well not bother leading, save the energy and wait in the goal square for a bomb on the head. Because leading for a pass ends in the same result .. a mongrel over his head or at his feet.. so he may as well save the energy. Is Cloke instructed to plonk in the goal square and out wrestle his opponent? He used to lead, and leap at the ball. Now he grapples, wrestles, bodies. Sure, he's a bohemoth, but he can run too. Lead at the kicker, (although our delivery inside 50 is shite at best), and you never know, he might kick a few.
Maxwell was one of our best in the 2nd quarter when returning from injury.
Maxwell was one of our worst in the 1st quarter when fit.
Maxwell was ok in the 3rd.
Maxwell was missing in the 4th.
So no he wan't overall one of our best at all, he did however have 2 good quarters.

Congratulations on knowing better than the club then.. (they have no idea do they!!) not to mention the commentators and everyone else who had Maxwell in the best.I hear he finished top5 in the 2012 BnF too. Stuggled back before playing ruck and getting smashed, then going foward to no avail, before going back in the last 8 or so games in his more familiar role but still was only average but hey top 5.....yeah buddy.
What a joke the official bests are both AFL and VFL are usually eyebrow raising for a few spots each week.

He is a;so now struggling to get separation on the lead, how Lappin keeps his job is beyond me.
I was one of the ones howling for Maxy to be dropped last year.... But give credit where it's due would you.. he was one of our best players for the second week in a row despite rolling his ankle half way through the game and having to have painkilling injections!! Btw.. he was not at all appalling in the first qtrAs I said he was one of our best for a quarter or so after injury? you selectively reading or what?
However pre injury in the 1st quarter he was appalling and in the last he was MISSING.
By my count that is half a poor game and half a good one ie not our worst but not the ******* answer!
BTW Maxwell is a revered pie and imo it has influence BnF results just like it does sometimes at local level.
