The good argument, he is Cam O’Shea…Seriously though, is there a good argument for giving Cameron O'Shea another crack? At 197cm he could answer our needs for a genuine tall key defender.
We need a gorilla, Keath type for one bloke - Hawkins. We had the third best defence all year in regards to scores against. I would rather Grundy again. But in all seriousness, Hawkins and Dixon are the last of the Dinosaurs, maybe the North Bloke will become a ‘Power Forward’ but your Kings, McKay and Tilthorpe’s are +200cm aerobic beasts. Structured defence seems to be the plan these days.
If the AFL tweak the 6’6’6 rule, to every stoppage you must have a forward in the Goal Square or 6 Fowards in front of the Centre Circle maybe the 1on1 dual will come back, until then it will continue to be the game as it is now!
