MRP / Trib. Tribunal Thread - rules and offences discombobulation

Dahlhaus was a textbook dangerous tackle. Arm pinned, rotational sling, slam the player into the ground. It looks 100 times worse than SPP's and yet drew the same penalty from Michael Feedthemtothelions.

Reminds me of the 80s/90s when Scot Salisbury used to clothesline players then get let off at the tribunal because it wasn't his fault they hit their heads so hard on the unforgiving Footy Park turf.

A few years ago I heard on the grapevine that we had not been doing ourselves any favours by our choice of counsel for the players (it was a quality of argument thing, not a personality thing, though they can get muddled up at times). I don't know if we have changed it up since. I hope so.
Didn't we use a long time Port supporter and solicitor who was fairly old and had a poor track record of getting our blokes off of AFL suspensions when they appealed?

Yes, I think that was the one Boxx mentioned died recently. I know they have used a barrister over here in Melbourne too in the past. I don't know how recently his last brief form the club was.

We have also used Krupka a bit.
